I just wanted to say "Thank you "for your videos. I am very time poor, caring for a large family, which I'm very grateful for), so watching your work and following your process is a wonderful inspiration for the future. Your descriptions and wording are wonderfully thorough and I connect deeply with your passion. Thank you again.
Well, thank you! I'm so glad you're enjoying your time with family and are able to find some time to share with me. Such a kind comment, thank you again.
Thanx Sarah, lovely episode again, very inspiring
Thank you!
❤❤❤
Thoroughly enjoyed spending this time with you Sarah, as always. I'll be popping over to Patreon to watch /listen to your Marie Wallin thoughts too. I have the yarn for the Cherish sweater, but I also love Yell (who doesn't?!).
Thank you Clare, will you be casting either on soon? And the Yell...why does it have to be knit on such small needles ;)
Classic, traditional lines bring a deep-seated contemplative joy. Thank you for sharing this part of your journey.
I find your videos so soothing and contemplative. Sending you best wishes from Northamptonshire, UK ❤
Thank you and I am so glad!
As always, such a lovely, calm episode.
Thank you Amber, I'm so glad you enjoy it.
Thank you as always, Sarah. ❤ After watching Nicole's Yell swatch-to-FO journey and the stunning garment that resulted, I am really looking forward to seeing where your ideas for that project will take you! The wolf painting and encaustic treatment was just beautiful. 🩶
Thank you Diane, I am so thankful to have Nicole as a resource!
I loved seeing your watercolor wolf project, the finished result is magical to me. Thank you for sharing your journey, as always it is so thoughtful and inspiring. Thanks to you, I can reconsider sweater design necklines and make it for my own preference. Looking forward to the Patreon episode to see your Marie Wallin project.
Thanks Jess..
Watching your painting and process with drawing, etc., is so mesmerizing! Your sweater WIPs are really beautiful; I especially love the one where you're "mashing" two patterns. I'm doing that now on one of my own WIPs, and it's freeing to see where one can take ideas, fit, etc. Happy Autumn!
I'm so glad I did a mash up and it is freeing to be the boss of your knitting! ;)
Autumn is my favorite season. Here in The Netherlands, the leaves have yet to start to turn. But our evenings are cool and I am so grateful that I am able to finally wear a cardigan I crocheted with Yorkshire wool. The apple cider doughnuts looked scrumptious! I love the inspirational atmosphere your videos bring. I have been watching older videos on and off lately having only just discovered you this summer. 🤎🍂
Well, welcome! And here's to enjoying cardigans in the crisp fall evenings. I can't even imagine watching some of my older videos now! I've been doing this for so long! You can find a years worth of videos on my blog site which I didn't publish on CZcams in 2020-2022. Should you care to watch ;)
@@FiberTrek OH yes...I will check it out. I wondered why there is a break in the videos. I spend most of my weekends in our woodland cottage. I love being there and crafting while watching the birds. Nature in our country is so different and I love the raw nature you get to experience. There is nothing like walking in the woods in a handmade woolen cardigan!
Thank you for another beautiful episode and wonderful chat. Feels like time spent with a close friend, and your creative endeavors are inspiring. Looking forward to all that is to come! ❤ Oh, wanted to also ask if you are going to Rhinebeck? (Your cider donuts reminded me! 😋)
Well...obviously I didn't go to Rhinebeck. Did you have a good time and find any treasures? I'm so glad you enjoy the podcast and thank you for your kind comment
@@FiberTrek It was great! My sister and I each took our young (6 and 7) granddaughters for the first time. We knit them sweaters so they could be part of the Rhinebeck tradition and they were so excited the whole time. I caved and got myself the Woolee Winder for my wheel and a beautiful braid of Coopworth to spin. Not a bit of regret for that purchase. I love being able to fully focus on my spinning and can get such a full bobbin when it’s so even. We should have our Rhinebeck recap up soon if you fancy a peek. 😊 Nutty Knitty Sisters
Looking forward to see your color choice for the Marie Wallin Yell project.
Me too! ;) hehe! I've been thinking a lot about it and perusing the schoolhouse press website's supply of spindrift!
Thank you for the inspiring videos! Thought you’d like to know that the pelt wool sheep is a crossbreed of Gotlandsheep and the Norwegian Spælsau, the color is a medium grey (and it is one of my favorite yarns as well:-)
Always interesting to get more information in different sheep breeds. Thank you!
Just enjoyed your video. Was wondering if you thought about the Hinterland dress ...I just bought the pattern on sale. Your art medium was new to me in this video.
I have seen the hinterland dress and will revisit it. I think the gathers at the waist may have thrown me. So glad you enjoyed the encaustic!
@@FiberTrekI plan on less gathers in the waist, maybe a lower waist?
