Best acquisition since Brad. Hands down. Get these two on a show together. Please. Let Brad cook a dish and have André pair a wine. Maybe have him taste some of Brad's kombucha, and have Brad taste one of his favorite wines and then whip up a dish that would pair well.

Love how this dude just breaks all the rules that food purists would make. If it pairs well and tastes great, it's great! No pretentiousness or condescension. He's chill and just keeps it real!
I kinda have the feeling that he is very rich, but actually earned all that by himself, and started his life "normal".

It's great to see this. My wedding was at a vineyard (Pinot Noir dominant), and I had a burger caterer (rock on, Joe's). It was awesome! And totally not the fault of any wedding vendor for my eventual divorce. :D

Seriously, pairing wine with fast food is a skill all adults should have.
I think making your own healthier version of fast food dishes and then pairing it with wine is more the skill.
This guy is just the best. Not pretentious at all and just breaks down wines to the simplest terms that anyone can understand. Would love to have a glass and chill with this guy if ever given the chance.

For anyone else curious about non-pretentious and non-traditional food & wine pairings, highly recommend checking out the book Big Macs and Burgundy. So glad to see a somm like André teaching things in such an approachable, friendly way and introducing people, who don't drink wine or wouldn't otherwise, to the really fascinating world of wine!

Andre! We just did this pairing (not everything but most) - it was fun and phenomenal! It taught us a bit more about flavor profiles and most of all that wine doesn’t have to be paired with fine dining in order to be appreciated. The Barolo + Pepperoni pizza was incredible (everyone’s fave). Thanks for this 🙏

A delightful video, as always with André, I especially loved the two Riesling choices
Imho a dry Riesling can stand its own against a lot of strong flavors and cut through with a nice acidity, just don't serve it too cold, a good wine does not need that.
