FYI: that thing you call a “red jellyfish” is actually a reference from that one episode where SpongeBob meets Kevin the sea cucumber. The jelly goes by the name “Big Lenny” and one of his victims were way too lucky to survive its (apparently) lethal stings

Eyo Fusion, still keeping up with the series! A few things for ya, while I'm here.
1) Yeah, difficulty rankings in this game are all pretty much based on testing feedback. What was once difficult can very likely become pretty easy, between the game's age *and* the speedrunning community. Speaking of which...
2) The game came with both a short prologue, written by yours truly, and a digital manual with that good ol' console aesthetic. Just like you, I kinda miss the older days of those charming manuals and even cheat codes, which you saw a bit into the video. If you ever get stuck, or need a bit of clarification, a glance at the manual might help!
3) Finally, explore explore explore! Spatulas are already revealed in the environment, but Goofy Goober tokens will only be revealed in most cases if you perform a hidden task for Berry the Bear, who is one of Dave's oldest creations from his series of games. The same ideology applies to unlockable extras. Each level has silver extras, and even gold ones. Silver ones are based on each level, such as completing achievements and finding hidden interactables that are references to all seasons of SpongeBob! Gold ones have their own page in the extra, and you'll have to get a bit creative to find some of them.
It's nice to see a fresh face give some honest feedback for this game. I hope you're enjoying yourself, man! 😄

The secret about Squidward's creepypasta and that reference to "Savage Patrick" scene (and meme) are gold.
It's so hard to find good games like this, they're entertaining and more than a short and extra-bugged game where you barely get the plot or the mechanics
Savage Patrick is that thing where Patrick is on the ceiling and he's holding a jellyfishing net and doing a weird face and then he drops down on spongebob and this game is referencing it with doodle Patrick because he is on the ceiling and will drop down on spongebob if he goes underneath him

Ngl, i agree with Fuzion, out of the 3 levels Patrick's is definitely the hardest one which is funny since Spongebobs Pineapple which is marked as intense is way way more easy
Well, the only truly hard part (for me, anyway) is the maze, which has apparently been nerfed twice to reduce RNG to my knowledge.

@@bruhzoink the only section I'd turly be worried about in Patrick's Rock is the last section before the Prowler fight. It's easy dubs if you know how to dodge and control the POW! meter.

the "timer" u saw wasnt for the level itself but the clock u get a clock on the level if u finish the level so fast theres other stuff for other things too u see them at the end of the level the ones u get are colored the ones u missed or didnt get are greyed out (dunno if anyone else said this i recalled it from watching someone else play it like a year ago)
