I actually had the game (literally poor man’s Guitar Hero; called Pop Star Guitar) that this came with. It is 100% an add-on to turn the Wii-mote into a GH style fretboard.
It looks like it's designed for quiz games. You often see the type of controls used for said types of games to choose one of four answers. Essentially, the add-on plugs into the bottom, and replaces the use of the original Wii buttons, but spares the arrow keys. No idea what game would need it, though.
This is not a buzz controller, its a ryhthm gane controller, it was made for game featuring pop songs, i dont remember the name of the game, thats the only thing i know about it
I not entirely sure but there was a kids party game called buzz or somthing it used a special hook in on other consoles it was a small black remote with 4 colored buttons and one large red button I think that's the wii version of that controller
I might have an idea. The big buttons might be a replacement for the disabled, a bit like how Microsoft made that one controller. The bigger buttons would help a person reach it easier.
You're right about the guitar game. I had one a long time ago. I actually think about it from time to time. I think it was called something like Popstar Guitar. But that's the only game that I had a use for that attachment
It could probably be the button enlarger for people who can't see that well but it also makes it easier for others, one arm, one hand to play games they like.
This is a mini guitar adapter called AirG for wii popstar unfortunately it doesn't work for guitar hero. Popstar is similar to guitar hero but only uses 4 buttons.
It’s an accessory for a guitar hero-esque rhythm game called PopStar Guitar, turns the remote into a guitar hero controller essentially. The game was not very good
Honestly, it looks like Simon as a Wiimote. I mean, the orientation is what Simon what look like if the colored buttons were stacked on top of each other.
I know a bunch of people already answered, but I saw this thumbnail and had a minor wave of nostalgia, so I figured I'd put in my two cents. To answer your question, It's the latter. It was for Pop Star Guitar, a Guitar Hero-type game. I actually remember getting it when I got my Wii years ago, but I only played it very briefly. Come to think of it, I may still have the controller covers for it floating around somewhere. My Wii was the black model, so it always annoyed me that the white face of the controller cover contrasted with the black controller.
This controller can you use for a quiz, like questions games(Movies, games, etc.) questions game. The 4 buttons is your answers button. The Xbox 360 got same button, but a ball-looking-shape on the top on the controller. Is based use for Quizzes, questions Games and you got this (weird - like you say) controller.
At first that looked like some leapfrog learning toy, but it looks like it's used for rhythm games. I wonder if it came used for anything other than it's intended game?
There's a game called Pop'n Music and it's basically press buttons to the beat. There was a Wii version but I'm not sure if it's just motion controlled or if it uses buttons as well.
There was this one game show game that existed called buzz, maybe this is an adaption to simulate the controlers that the Xbox and ps3 were compatible with.
It's a "gameshow" controller, it's ment for trivia-games and other things like that, they also made a similar one for the playstation. (Or atleast I think that's what it is)
I actually had the game (literally poor man’s Guitar Hero; called Pop Star Guitar) that this came with. It is 100% an add-on to turn the Wii-mote into a GH style fretboard.
Thank you
I remember thinking "Wow、I can play crappy bootleg Guitar Hero on a Wii-Mote!"
Wait, so there’s guitar hero, pop star guitar, and rock band all on the Wii? Lol
Yo that game had welcome to my life by simple plan on it! It was the start of my emo phase
@@joshd404 Literally、the 1st sodding song on it、just before "Suddenly、I See"。
i feel like this is so obscure. this is an add on for the game “pop star guitar”, basically just GH but motion controlled.
I think you might be right...
I remember seeing and having the game and this controller add-on, but I couldn't put my finger on it. This is in fact correct.
With really crappy covers of good songs…
He is right, I own one complete
Yes I have it
It looks like it's designed for quiz games. You often see the type of controls used for said types of games to choose one of four answers.
Essentially, the add-on plugs into the bottom, and replaces the use of the original Wii buttons, but spares the arrow keys.
No idea what game would need it, though.
The buttons look similar to the Ps2 game "Buzz!" it's an addon or something, it has a buzzer on top and 4 buttons like in the video.
@@hahabred yeah. My thoughts exactly. I used to love those party game spin offs as a kid.
@@JacobPlatinum I played a lot of those games, even on the Psp and the Ps3
@@hahabred that was exactly what I was thinking. it's just like buzz
This is not a buzz controller, its a ryhthm gane controller, it was made for game featuring pop songs, i dont remember the name of the game, thats the only thing i know about it
Its for Wii Popstar Guitar. 2008 was wild times.
Bingo!
It reminds me of a PS2 buzzer controller. Probably for a rythm game but not GH. Those games got a full gitaur on wii.
omg I remember that monke game that used those, prob still have it around somewhere
That's a great guess!
That's my first thought lol
That's what thought
Same
Off brand guitar hero controller is my guess
Looks like it was made for Kahoot! lol. Imagine your class playing Kahoot! and some guy pulls up a Wii Remote
You're right about the guitar game. I had one a long time ago. I actually think about it from time to time. I think it was called something like Popstar Guitar. But that's the only game that I had a use for that attachment
This is the quiz show remote style that the game Buzz! uses. I remember seeing a whole seperate controller for it on PS3.
the buttons are part of an outer shell that wraps over the regular remote
Maybe for quiz games
It's a Mini Guitar Musical Pad Remote Controller Adapter for Nintendo Wii by Popstar
You're right!
it looks like the wii remote you see in your dream
Those 3 games in the background, I have all of them. Brings back some amazing memories
That controller reminds me of PS2 accessory for buzz Junior robo jam and jungle party for PS2
It could probably be the button enlarger for people who can't see that well but it also makes it easier for others, one arm, one hand to play games they like.
That Wii remote looks like it was made for babies like the kind of controller you'd find in a baby's store.
Would it work for this baby? 👶
Looks like a buzz controller, but maybe for a crap third party quiz game. It looks like it’s a cover
This is a mini guitar adapter called AirG for wii popstar unfortunately it doesn't work for guitar hero. Popstar is similar to guitar hero but only uses 4 buttons.
it’s a mini guitar musical pad remote controller adapter :)
It could be from an line of children's games or for an game that's designed for seniors
Good guess!
My friend had this attachment, he says it's from a game called 'Pop star guitar'
Oh wow that is crazy I never saw one of those before
It looks like a controller to help people with disabilities play easier with how big and colorful the buttons are
Maybe for smaller kids who can’t find those small buttons
It’s an accessory for a guitar hero-esque rhythm game called PopStar Guitar, turns the remote into a guitar hero controller essentially. The game was not very good
its for an absolute horrid attempt at a guitar hero knockoff called Popstar Guitar
Looks like a Wii remote for one of those trivia games
DkOldies Sending A “Authentic” WiiMote Be Like:
The placement of the minus button is so cursed...
Someone tag Scott the woz
i have something like that for my ps2 it's called the "buzzer controller"
It’s for that game called Buzz! It was a game show style game and came with this as a pack in
Its actually an accessory for the wii controller for a quiz game
It could be for small children who can't handle tiny buttons it'd explain the big primary color buttons
This is a good guess!
Knockoff guitar hero controller made for a shovelware game is my guess.
Definitely either a quiz game controller or an accessibility adapter
Looks like a controller for trivial pursuit
I played a quiz game that had this attachedment. Couldn't play the game without it.
It looks like a peripheral for a trivia/quiz game.
Honestly, it looks like Simon as a Wiimote.
I mean, the orientation is what Simon what look like if the colored buttons were stacked on top of each other.
That definitely looks like an add-on.
Finally, I can play FNF with a Wii Remote
For a second I thought that was a bootleg wii remote
Maybe it’s a controller for toddlers?? It definitely gives “colorful toy” vibes
This would be perfect for my parents who, despite us owning a wii for nearly 15 years, still ask were the buttons are when we play games.
This looks like if Fisher Price made a Wii remote.
Probably came with one of those games show games
That's a normal wii remote with an accessory from a game attached to it.
I think it may be for NES games from the virtual console, to help press the 1 and 2 buttons easier
That doesn't look like it's made for the usual games.
I have had that, it’s for a game called pop star.
Probably for those gameshow games
Looks like a gituar controller, because home and - isn’t sized up
I think it was a weird game show game. You would use it to choose options for like jeopardy or something like that.
Looks like Buzz almost
It's for those trivia games
There's also a trivia game for this.
At first that looked like some leapfrog learning toy, but it looks like it's used for rhythm games. I wonder if it came used for anything other than it's intended game?
It reminds me of the buzz quiz games I used to play as a kid
Ahhhh I remember the Mario themed Wii remotes
Looks like a quiz game buzzer
There's a game called Pop'n Music and it's basically press buttons to the beat. There was a Wii version but I'm not sure if it's just motion controlled or if it uses buttons as well.
There was this one game show game that existed called buzz, maybe this is an adaption to simulate the controlers that the Xbox and ps3 were compatible with.
Looks like the controller that came with the Buzz Quiz for PS2. 🤔
...you ever hear of the game BUZZ?
Def guitar hero, the color coordination is correct
So close!
Pretty Sure it may be a controller for a old quiz game called "BUZZ" I remember playing it alot back then. Could be wrong though.
Buzz is a PlayStation game
Probably like a accessory to some kind of kids game
I bet it’s a controller for a game show kind of game. They’re colorful buzzers for 4 answer multiple choice
Looks like it's for a quiz game.
My guess would be for a quiz game like "scene it"
I just picked up a WiiMote Motion Plus made by Nerf, very rare and the most cozy controller ever!!
It's a "gameshow" controller, it's ment for trivia-games and other things like that, they also made a similar one for the playstation.
(Or atleast I think that's what it is)
It gives me preschool toy vibes
Probably for a trivia type game
Even worse, it's a controller for a Guitar Hero clone... and a bad one. It was "Pop Star Guitar". I had the PS2 version.
Looks like an add on for the buzz games
This would be a good trivia controller, like everyone gets one and the buttons corresponds to an answer on screen
It's the buttons on the Wiimote, but they're bigger.
Scene-it controller? That's what it looks like, at least 😂
It could also be a quiz game like the PS2
looks like the controller for buzz, a ps2 quiz game
It reminds me of the Buzz controllers for the PlayStation but that doesn’t explain why there’s a d-pad on it.
GAME SHOWS WII REMOTE?!
It's probably not an enlarger because the home button is still small
It looks like it's for those 'Buzz' games.
Looks like It's for a trivia party game
MoM cAn I gEt GuTaR hErO?
Mom: we have guitar hero at home 😂
Guitar hero at home:
It looks like a fisher-price game add on.
Yeah looks like its for something like family feud or other games like that, used to own a different version for the wii
It's an add-on it's not a Wii controller in itself.
This also came with an Alvin and the Chipmunks game
If I remember correctly there are trivia games that use this I used to play a trivia game on a wii
I do want to say, who would intentionally miss and don't add one of the buttons needed for Guitar Hero if it's built/made for Guitar Hero?
It's for a quiz game probably
