I needed an all round shoe for traveling that I could use for running, hiking and for semi-formal occasions, so I bought them in black. Theyâre perfect!
I'm an older runner. I no longer care about times, I just care about running. The reviews which talk about whether a shoe is 'fast' or not just don't interest me. I just need to know whether a shoe will help me to keep running. I still turn up to half marathons, but I don't kid myself that I'm racing, I'm taking part and that's what I love. The review is great, thanks for the useful insights, I can agree with your analysis. These shoes are perfect, I'm confident that they will help me to keep running for years to come.
I just got the all black version of this shoe today. I bought them to add to my clinical shoe collection. Iâm wearing them now and they are really comfortable.

Iâm not sure wethere to get a wide or normal size for these shoes. The shoe guide says to get half a size bigger in order to fit better but Iâm wondering if getting my true size but in wide would fit better as opposed to going up half a size? Iâm between 2 sizes so I fear going up half a size would be way too big. Iâm between a size 9.5 and 10 but I usually go for a 10 so I donât think a 10.5 would fit well. What do you think?

Right out of the gate, the offset is going to be different. The Ghost Max has a 6 mm drop whereas the glycerin 21s have a 10 mm drop. 1 mm taller from the Ghost Max in the heel. the Ghost Max feels less spongy, giving you more opportunity to pick up the paces with, so slightly stiffer. Hope some of these details help.

Absolute trash, bought it, after one 30 min walk made my back hurt a week ago and still in recovery. I sent it back and currently in the ASICS nimbus 26.
@@2pac1307 I have the 25 and after two months honestly the foam was way to soft and the 26 so far have a much better firmness and spring to them but again thatâs for me
@@TheMainCal well about that time will tell, but in meantime I'll snatch 25s at hefty discount..đ And given that 26s are wayy more expensive than these, this is a wise đŠ decision 4 me. BTW I'll use these shoes for general walking in & around my campus and that's it. Tbh they look nice unlike some other maximalist shoes.
@@2pac1307 really just giving my feed back since I have owned both, and in another month I will know for sure but more and likely will be buying the other two colors in extra wide if the trend keeps up. Yes they are 60 bucks more which is expensive but I rather have the right ones for my feet than save a few bucks in this case. Now next year sure I would get the 26 to save some money.

Yeah theyâre pretty phenomenal. Since run 1 Iâve been excited to lace them up on every run. Extremely versatile!!
Wondering how the outsole has been for everyone else...had to send two pairs back due to peeling rubber.

Yes. I havenât had any issues with upper durability issues on the Ghost Max. There uppers are different from ones in the past if that helps.
10:25 How about Puma Magnify Nitro 2?
I have tried both brooks ghost max and gel nimbus 25. And for me the top pick out of these two would definitely be nimbus 25

Yes, this would make for a great first pair of running shoes. Quite comfortable while also keeping things stable underfoot.
