I LOVE the fact that none of these performers sang it the way Britney did! They all did in their own way and that for me is the whole point - not to copy but make it your own version!

Not all of them were their own. Melanie Martinez was on the voice and that girl with the black her legit did an exact copy of hers
Doing Britney’s version would be pretty complicated lol, since you would need to have the energy to dance, jump, and even come off as hot. All while singing and making the crowd crazy
Yael Naim did the Britney version from Britney's Vegas show which a lot of people would not know of but it's not hers.

I enjoy the UK singer's voice even though I don't normally care for opera.
andrewwmunro no it’s not, it’s musical theatre/classical crossover. Opera is a broad term this performance was labelled with. I do actually sing operatically and sing a lot of traditional arias, I would never call myself an actual opera singer, though I am classically trained. This was not my best performance, but I think I did damn well considering I had my warm up session at 10:30am and didn’t actually get on stage till about 10:00pm, after 2 hours sleep, ...that combined with nerves.

I've seen a lot of comments saying that the last guy is drunk or on drugs and that he should go home or something, but that's really the way sings, his style and his choice. I've watched the whole show and I can tell that he is totally fine and not high, that's just way he is. This guy's an artist that's all. When the coaches' chairs turned and he had to choose one he picked a random girl -child- in the public (he didn't know her) and asked her to choose for him. Then during the next episode of the show he brought her on the scene and made her the "princess" of his performence (like she was the one people should have to look at, not him) while he was singing. I loved his performence, he switched between high and deep tones and changed his voice, "created" new ones he was totally into the character. I don't know if it was made on purpose but the way he sings kinda "represents" or sounds like the mutilple personality disorder, or something close to it, and it goes well with the lyrics. Now that you have that in mind you can't unhear it, it's amazing.
