    Thank you so much! Had a dead battery on my 2012 Pilot and after jumping it, both the ABS/VPS lights stayed on. So I knew it was a glitch. Tried several suggestions. Your's was the only one that worked. I've heard of people having to pay upwards of $50 to reset it. What a scam.

    If you have an active ABS code, the ABS light will begin to blink. The blinking frequency of the ABS light will indicate which code has been stored.
    Long blinks equal 10 and short blinks equal 1. An example of this would be three long blinks followed by one short blink. That would indicate ABS code 31.
    RF = Right Front
    LF = Left Front
    RR = Right Rear
    LR = Left Rear
    Codes:
    11 = RF wheel sensor. (open/short to body ground/short to power)
    12 = Faulty RF wheel sensor pulse signal.
    13 = LF wheel sensor. (open/short to body ground/short to power)
    14 = Faulty LF wheel sensor pulse signal.
    15 = RR wheel sensor. (open/short to body ground/short to power)
    16 = Faulty RR wheel sensor pulse signal.
    17 = LR wheel sensor. (open/short to body ground/short to power)
    18 = Faulty LR wheel sensor pulse signal.
    21 = Continuous operation. (chipped pulsar)
    31 = Solenoid
    32 = Solenoid
    33 = Solenoid
    34 = Solenoid
    35 = Solenoid
    36 = Solenoid
    37 = Solenoid
    38 = Solenoid
    51 = Motor lock.
    52 = Motor stuck off.
    53 = Motor stuck on.
    54 = Main relay stuck off.
    61 = Ignition voltage.
    81 = CPU (Central Processing Unit)

    Just want to say this worked on my 2000 honda accord v6 coupe in turning off the light. However the light did come back on almost right away b/c the new sensors I installed myself were not generating voltage, or so I thought. Once i fixed that (I had to reposition the new sensors a little due to the rust and the less than clean hole) the light went off by itself in like 10 seconds of driving. The sensor tip needed to be VERY close to the reluctor ring. I was hand turning the hub/bearing (wheel is off at the moment) while trying to get a voltage reading on my multimeter. Once I got a reading I tightened the bolt good and buttoned everything up and the light went off auto! Those other youtube videos failed to mention that you really should check resistance and voltage before putting everything back or that ABS light won't go away and you'll incorrectly think the new sensors were defective.
    PS if after doing this and your ABS light does go away but you notice your ABS activating under 10MPH as you slow down, then for sure your ABS wheel sensors are not generating any if much voltage. Lastly I TU and SUBBED this video bc his method worked as intended. If the light came back on , it is not his fault. Just means you've got an underlying issue, probably with the sensors.

    I have a 2006 UK-spec Honda Jazz (aka "Fit").
    The ABS light came on after hitting a loose rock on the road (no damage to the wheel at all).
    Both my old and new OBD2 scanners report "No Codes".
    I tried your method:
    1. Turn Ignition OFF.
    2. Join pins 4 & 9 of OBD2 socket
    3. Hold Brake pedal down
    4. Turn Ignition to ON (not start engine)
    5. ABS light illuminates...
    but the ABS light does not then go off for me.
    I tried pulling the 7.5A ABS fuse for a minute then replacing it but it made no difference.
    Any ideas?

    This procedure did not work on my 2005 Honda Accord. The ABS light did not go off when I turned the ignition switch with foot on brake pedal,, it just stayed on. Further,more after removing the jumper wire, the starter would crank, but the car would not start. Apparently the jumper wire between the pin holes shorted something out or blew a fuse. Please advise how to repair whatever it damaged. Thanks.
