World´s Best Cake (Norwegian Cake)

Hi! Today i will be sharing with you one of Norway´s traditional cake called Verdens Beste Kake or Kvæfjordkake in English World´s Best Cake.
I hope you would try this recipe at home. This cake is simple and easy to make! Plus it tastes incredibly good!
INGREDIENTS BUTTER CAKE
150g Butter
100g Sugar
4 Egg Yolks
60ml Milk
1 tsp Vanilla Paste
150g Flour
1tsp Baking Powder
INGREDIENTS MERINGUE
200g Sugar
4 Egg Whites
50g Chopped Almonds (topping)
Note:
Pre-heat Oven for 170°C. Bake the cake for 25-30 mins at 170°C.
Completely Cool the cake before cutting and adding the filling
Chill after assembling for 1-2 hours before serving for the filling to totally set.
