is this Emily Thornberry type poverty?? She said she grew up to a single mom on a council estate on Question Time once but read her wikipedia and you'll find her dad did this!
    Cedric Thornberry in 1999
Cedric Henry Reid Thornberry (22 June 1936 - 6 May 2014) was an international lawyer and Assistant-Secretary-General of the United Nations, for which he worked for 17 years. He spent most of his United Nations service in international peace keeping in Cyprus, the Middle East, the former Yugoslavia and Somalia.[1]

Also very true regarding the property portfolios of mps. They are the reason that better housing standards are blocked (as well as a lack of council housing being). built

Although she comes across as a compassionate young lady, which she is no doubt. She has some questionable ideas. She has the audacity to say that she won Canterbury's vote based on the fact she is a woman, and this somehow swayed the opinion polls. Sorry to break it to you, you won Canterbury's vote on merit alone. It is your policy that won the vote, not your gender or race.

How appropriate that the MP that wants to take us back to the polluted conditions of the nineteenth century sounds like he's called Jacob Re-Smog.

Calling my MP a bimbo is insulting. She has done more in the constituency this year than the previous imbecile did in his entire 30+ years.

She is my MP - a very real MP and a very real person, Thomas. Sensible, straightforward and caring with real experience of ordinary life to draw on. Certainly a breath of fresh air compared to the patronising old fossil that she replaced!
