I'm a wimp, made me tear up, glade hes doing better. I love all dogs to.
Frankie was saying Mom, I want to go home! Just like any of us would do. Just happy to see he came out of surgery and in better shape. God does work in our prayers and I had Frankie, you and Josh in them in these difficult weeks. Treat that little boy, no, spoil him a bit! He's a trouper, and like you said, he's family! A furbaby is special. Hugs, Brit, kiss Frankie from me!
Diesel was so funny when Josh was trying to bite his foot. Glad to hear Frankie is doing well.

Wow. You are very lucky he is walking that soon. Our dog took a couple of days to recover, though her surgeries where lower back not upper. Be patient with him.

Wonderful!!! Only thing is, when my Hachi heard Frankie, she wildly ran around inside of the house whining and yelping, looking for whatever was making the noise. I had to turn off the volume and comfort her for quite a long while to let her know all was well.

I have a Dash hound and that's the main issue with them, their skeletal structure is a little weak because of their length and short lengths. It puts a lot of stress on the back. My dogs are my world too. I know exactly how you feel. The reason it's different between dogs and people is because they cant communicate and they are so defenseless. Take care.

Hi Brit, I'm so happy that Frankie's surgery went well. My wife and I adopted 2 cats last year from the Humane Society in St. Catharines, Ontario. If anything happened to our cats we would be just as worried about our fur babies as you and Josh were worried about Frankie.

Wow Brett that was a range of emotions about brought them out in me but I am so happy for Frankie and that the surgery went well I know what he's going through I had the same surgery but I didn't have the same outcome let's just hope the little guy doesn't have to have surgery again and it gets all better anchor run around and be a happy little fella I am so happy are you and Josh
We decided we will give this one shot. We won't be putting him through this again. It's a lot for a dog to handle.

Unfortunately, owning a pet is a tragedy waiting to happen. Doesn't matter. josh will have to go through this twice more with Diesel and Chevy. If you don't have this in your head from the beginning, you are lost. And your feelings are always going to be hurt. I wish you very good luck.
