I tried this recipe last night and it was really good the only difference I made was adding a little white vinegar with the cold water. Vinegar help the batter better stick to the chicken while frying.

Maybe its just me, but Popeyes where live has been fine. I will try that chicken seasoning though. I kind of have my own recipe I've been forming, but I've definitely been looking for other seasonings. I usually only double bread with boneless, but I'll try it. I generally like smoking and grilling, so I'm thinking about starting to do frying outside with a big fryer
