Learn how to convert your gas generator to run on propane. If you have a gas generator, you should look into making your generator into a Tri-fuel generator. Which will allow you to run on Gasoline, Propane or Natural Gas. So during an emergency, you don't have to depend on gas stations which tend to shut down during power outages and other situations.

I did this video in 2013 before Motor Snorkels were available. Motor Snorkels are now the way to go. Check them out.

The clearance is tight. I ended up drilling new motor mounts & slightly rotating the engine in order to clear the bar. Nice job. Cutting the bar works as well.

Why cut the frame? I've seen a couple of videos of guys doing this. You ruined the resale of the gennie. Just use a rubber hose & clamp it over the doughnut and moving the air cleaner would have been a much better option. You would have to build some type of flange to mate the air cleaner to the hose extension and extend the PVC hose but would still be able to make the gennie stock again.
