The difference between how over Charlotte actually is and how over Jim thinks she is has become comical.
Same could be said for her skill. If her opponent isn’t above average in ability, her matches aren’t too good, and she rarely sells anymore. Her and Rhea are just so massively overhyped, they could compete in a swimming pool bra and panties match and Jim would praise it as the best match he ever saw.
Facts Charottle has never be that over wwe just force feed her to the fans but she never got over like Becky did
Jim likes what he likes and dislikes what he dislikes. He doesn't get what works for the remaining fans of today. However, he's dead right about AEW, but that's low hanging fruit. 😂
Not really, he acknowledges how good Chatlotte is in big matches which she is. She literally gives most woman their best matches including Rhea herself
Charlotte is great. But we also notice that she's essentially John Cena 2010s era in no matter what she'll be pushed and get title shots. Just like with Cena then, I like it but some don't

When he said bayley is not a match for Rhea Ripley but Charlotte was, it kind of showed his lack of knowledge of who is over and ability.
I've said it before and I'll say it again,Cornette's hard up for Flair.
Wouldn't really blame him though. Outside of about five women, the division is abysmal dog shit. Rhea and Charlotte perform with the physicality that the guys do and they can atleast see over the top rope.
Becky regular outdraw both then but the iwc doesn’t like the trust Rhea went back to nxt last year and rating didn’t change but Becky return got nxt it best rating in three years and made stars out of tiff and Lyra

Regarding the card overall, apparently it was supposed to include Seth versus Bronson Reed, Punk in the Men's Chamber (winning it), and Brock versus Dirty Dom, until injuries and circumstance made that impossible. Aside from pulling out Cody versus Rock, and bumping Rhea from the Main Event, or bringing in Gunther, who can't leave the US until his resident status is approved, I think this was the best pivot they could have done.

That Rhea match felt like an old school territory wrestling match. Here in the states (in our territory) shes the bad guy womens champ who is part of a heel faction... but back home, in her territory, she's Flair.
Honestly this was a little better match than I expected, what frustrates me most is that Nia doesn’t even know how to register a punch other than just jiggling a little bit

Yes! She’s been perfect as a monster heel, and the main point of bringing her back was to put Rhea Ripley over before WrestleMania, in her home country where she was the most babyface. It was a pretty good spectacle match.

As an aussie, it can't be understated that this was the first ever WWE PPV in oz and the main card featured a first-time aussie champion. We want to fit into the WWE universe as much as possible and we will take what we can get. Honestly this is pretty good.
For what it was Nia did the best she's ever done. It was a decent main event. Certainly better than anything aew has put out lately.

Criticisms of Nia would hold so much more weight (no pun intended) if they weren't constantly thrown towards her even when she has solid matches. You'd think she was a walking mess during that match, when it was easily her best since returning.
A lot of these "complaints" thrown at Nia Jax just feels like hating tbh. Call her on her shit when he fucks up, but don't pretend as if she hasn't improved whatsoever during this current run compared to how horrible she was before. She's not going to turn around and be Bryan Danielson out of nowhere, but let's not act like she's even close to the worst wrestler in the world rn considering the shit we see everywhere else.
Why does Travis keep drawing Rhea with the slicked back hair like she fell into vat of motor oil instead of the Joan Jett on steroids?
The worst parts of the match were Rhea kicking out of the finish, and going on offense immediately from the Samoan off the ropes.

Worst spot was definitely Nia doing a Samon drop on the announce table and not remembering to clear the desk first,which everyone has done forever, so Rhea took a mounted iPad straight to the middle of her back, breaking the thick plastic mount with her own body weight which had to hurt. Look, wasn't a fan of Nia before she returned. She put in the work though. Give people a chance to improve especially when given a second chance. She trimmed down some and actually added some interest to the Raw Women's division. Jade looked incredible, because you had someone like Nia in that role. Kind of funny how someone like Ridge Holland is not called out on as much for being prone to botches.
Nia and Rhea bring something different to the women division and I like that. I feel that Nia Jax could be the women's Mark Henry
I’d say the difference here is Ridge Holland isn’t in the main event/title picture, where performers HAVE TO work well, sell well, and talk well. Midcarders get less scrutiny because they aren’t competing for the top prize, if they ever get there. So while it’s fair to point out that other performers botch moves, they don’t get as much scrutiny because of their position on the card and roster overall. If you’re gunning for the top spot, your shit better be tight or it’s rightfully going to get called out. Has Nia’s work improved, sure. Is it at Rhea or Charlotte’s level? I’d say not.

And Stratton does a moonsault WAY better than Charlotte does. That means Jim will trash Tiffany as much as possible because he knows deep down that she makes Charlotte look terrible.

No, she can't cut a promo with the attitude, but it's so rare to have a woman wrestle like a monster heel and she does it well. It was also a good opportunity for Rhea to have someone to bump around for as that's something she doesn't have to do often.
I chalk it down to Jim's often poorly-cross-haired perspectives on the women. He has his favourites, and doesn't even see the rest. Took a while for Brian to talk Jim into Bianca, and Bianca is generally great.
Nia was fine. I like Jim a lot of the time but unfortunately, I think Nia's appearance makes it impossible for him to give her any credit.

Rhea had what many people consider to be the best WWE match of the year at Wrestlemania with Charlotte, Nia never had any match that was considered good by pretty much anyone. Nia is better than she used to be, mainly because she hasn't injured anyone so far, but thats a very low bar.

@cekid1076 Kid, she has literally injured more people total in her career than she even had matches since her recent return. People will let it go if she has actually gone a respectable distance without hurting someone, and honestly being an actual menace in the ring is pretty much the only reason anyone is even remotely interested in a Nia Jax match to begin with.
As someone who actually went, I didn't feel ripped off by the matches or people who were booked. Would have loved to see The Rock, but we knew a part timer wasn't coming all the way to Australia for one match. Another 1 or 2 mid card matches might have been nice; but I pretty much saw anyone I cared about (which says alot about the quality of the WWE roster really)

Was a pretty good match for what it was. The crowd was interested obviously rhea being the home country wrestler in the main event. But nia is never gonna be the smoothest of workers in there and even rhea even tho shes a stronger worker than alot of women also isnt the smoothest herself at times so ofc theres gonna be moments in matches like we're the communication is gonna be off

@greasy2007 Really? 4-5 matches total. Show was shorter than a weekly episode of raw with only half that time tops being actual matches. 2 of those matches were complete trash throw away tag matches. Drew, Becky, and Rhea were 1,000,000% winning, so nothing was at stake to get excited about. Becky did nothing the entire chamber match and still won.
I can't believe that I'm going to say this but holy shit rhea Ripley brought Nia jax to her best match in her entire wwe career including her first run before she got released rhea was clearly the babyface her because it's in Australia the riptide looked ridiculous.
