I've watched just about everything regarding gen 2 Ridgeline on CZcams. This is the most thorough review of the Honda sensing suite and Ridgeline electronics hands down.

Justin does the best Honda reviews on CZcams.

My husband and I own a 2020 Ridgeline with aftermarket Leer canopy and it is the best. The perfect family vehicle. You won't regret buying one of these.

This is such a phenomenal review! This helped me immensely when I just bought my Honda Ridgeline. I would drive the 8 hours to buy a Ridgeline from Justin. Great job with your reviews and test drives.

I just got a 22 RTL-E a couple of weeks ago and I was having connection issues with android auto and my pixel 6. I tried two different cords and it still was dropping the connection. I was thinking it was the truck but after reading about it I ended up buying a new charge cord everything has been as it should be. The cord that came with my phone has a usb-c on both ends and the Ridgeline comes with a regular USB. I had an adapter to connect to the truck and that was the problem. The other cord I tried was just an older one I had and evidently it was just non-compatible. So if you feel like spending a few dollars on a new charge cord that could be the issue for those who are having problems with apple car play and android auto FYI...

GREAT review! Super detailed. If you weren't 400+ miles from me, I'd buy my next Honda from you! Currently have an 2013 Accord EXL, and I really like tis Ridgeline.

Doesn't it also auto-lock when you walk away so you don't have to hit the button?

The FATAL FLAW of the sport trim is the drivers seat. It's not power adjustable. It's got the manual 'diagonal' adjuster. I.e. it adjusts down-and-back, and up-and-forward. Thing is, that sucks. There is so much headroom that there is no need to lower the seat, but with the 'diagonal' seat adjustment, if you want to sit higher, you will also sit farther forward.

By comparison, the power seats in the upper trim allow you to move up/down AND back/forth independently. Which allows for far more comfort....

This is the main reason we bought a 2022 RTL-E rather than sport…The seats are so much better. Now if Honda would just fix their Apple CarPlay connectivity issues I’d be happy with the truck. Ours randomly disconnects and the truck has to be restarted to reconnect. My coworkers 2020 Ridgeline has the same problem. Wish I knew that before I bought it.

@@weswarren1465 Yeah, I ordered an RTL. It's the next less expensive model. I looked at the RTL-E, and found the extra features were not for me personally. Although if apple carplay is your only complaint, you got a good truck..

I purchased the Sport model a few ago, it was a 6 hour drive back home from dealership, no issues with the seat being uncomfortable, no issues with the CarPlay

@@reyperez3424 Are you a short shit then? As someone with a 38" inseam, I need the seat to go back. If it goes 'back and down', it has the effect of pushing my knees up, and having less seat under my legs. This creates pressure points on your rear. I noticed this within a 15 minute test drive. FYI, picked up my RTL two days ago. Dam, the power seats allow for much more comfortable/supportive seating position.

When it is uncomfortable I get swollen feet , I don’t need to lie.
      The Tacoma is uncomfortable

Honda Corporate needs to address their unibody cab and fix their leaks that happen on the back of the cab from rain or car washes that penetrate the seams that are not sealed properly, or have the back of the cab a solid piece of steel as does Tacoma. H C knows that there is an issue with this but refuse to address it
