    also i LOVE windows 11 so far. its exactly what i always wanted out of a new windows. finally we get simplicity and minimalism too, not just apple customers. it looks so beautiful and clean. would love some more customizability of the start menu and taskbar though, i hope that will happen.

    Hi Jason,
    I'm living in Brazil and am thinking of computer purchase later this year. Does Windows 11 have a language change option? I'm currently using Win8 and have to navigate all technical issues in Portuguese. My Galaxy A31 phone allowed me to change language to English on set-up. Was wondering if Win11 has similar option. Thanks.

    • @SeleTraining
      @SeleTraining  Před 2 lety +3

      Windows 10 and 11 have a language option in settings where you can choose from many languages. It will change the entire Windows menus, desktop, and other text to the language you choose. You can find it under language and region.

    • @SeleTraining

      This version is mostly about the security and a refresh of the interface. Other than that it's mostly like WIndows 10. People have strong opinions but it looks good to me so far. Not a major need to upgrade to it though and people can stick with Windows 10 for 4 more years if they want.

  • @brendanhoffmann8402
    @brendanhoffmann8402 Před 2 lety +1

    i7 7700k meets all the requirements you mentioned but is left out of the minimum system requirements. I just upgraded to a late 2020 machine so that I could run it. In the fine print they also require 'Secure Encrypted Virtualization' technology which computers older than 4 years don't have. I don't think they will budge on this requirement. They required all these extra hardware security features because it can cut back up to 60% of cyber attacks.

    • @SeleTraining
      @SeleTraining  Před 2 lety

      Yes, it does require virtualization based security. That has been around for a few years though and can be enabled even in Windows 10. Microsoft is definitely focused on improving security for Windows 11.

    • @SeleTraining

      They are getting some pushback so that may change. I can understand the need for improvement to security but this puts too many computers out of the loop for the WIndows 11 upgrade. Hopefully they will delay that requirement 3 or 4 years.

    I'm planning to get a gaming PC built next year for Windows 11! Not only that, but with all this freezing and taking forever to download iTunes content, I'm not sure how much longer my laptop will last. I plan to have the gaming PC be as powerful as the Xbox Series S, have a Blu Ray drive, have a mix of USB-A and USB-C ports and some other stuff I cannot think of atm. My parents may have some old keyboards and mice in the loft I can have. They certainly have some old webcams and an old scanner I can use! I've been wanting a USB keyboard for my Commodore 64 mini anyway, and a USB mouse for Game Builder Garage on Nintendo Switch! I would just need some workarounds so I can use some old Windows 95 software on my new Windows 11 machine, such as Virtual Springfield!
