- In this weeks video I cruise my narrowboat from Audlem to Nantwich with over night stops at Coole Pilate and Hack Green. I hunker down during a storm and get creative composing my own music. I do some single handed boating through the locks to my destination where I meet my mum for coffee and given an amazing gift.

You are totally safe in you steel boat if it gets struck by lightning. It will scare you half to death but you wont get electrocuted. Might burn the paint a bit and mess up your electronics. I love how cozy you are inside away from the rain but watching it out the windows. Those are some mega clouds around.

Oh the excitement of a thunderstorm. I always loved them , little did I know my mom was terrified of them .She hid in a closet ( she shared this years later) while I joyfully rocked in a rocking chair on our porch and took in the sounds and smells of rain❤️

Hi I have worked on a few channel boats I had a job to take a 1956 listers from Wolverhampton to Chirk in Wales but for it to sink at Wheaton Aston love playing on the cut. My grandad work on the canal as a boy so love seeing you. have fun 🤗X o I'm not far from high Offley on the Shropshire union

Just come across your channel, what a lovely pleasant lady you are, I have watched a couple of your videos so far and had to subscribe so I can share more time with you. The first video I watched was the one about Bosley Locks. The big house which you said you would buy if you won the lottery, originally this was a farm house which was once owned by Reg and Hilda Brown, also where I spent many years filming the wildlife around the farm. What appeals to me is that you can moor well away from any light pollution if you want. As an amateur astronomer, I would love to moor up on a cloudless night and set up a telescope to look at the wonders of the universe - with a few tots of rum to keep me warm, of course!

Yesterday morning I watched a CZcams on Telly talking about a nasty storm with flooding in London last Sunday I believe. Hope you were moored some place safe. Here we may be having the warmest October I can remember. Temps right at Freezing except for the last couple days it has dropped to -8C at night. Take care
I’m up North, but it’s cold 🥶 but not freezing yet luckily but enough to have my log burner going 24/7 😀 take care and stay warm 😀😀🏴☠️

I had an awful day earlier went shopping on my mobility scooter because the weather app said it was going to stay dry (LIARS) but I got caught out in a thunderstorm and got soaked through, when I got home I changed into my PJs and bathrobe and put the fire on sipped my hot coffee and watched your Vlog, heaven!! A lovely cruise through Cheshire to Nantwich. Nice to go past the secret bunker again. Gorgeous skies - with a lot of rain in them. I guess you need the rain at the moment in the UK. I love your labour saving device - the barge pole - to close the lock gates. A great idea a a single hander.
