I started learning french when I was 8 but I’ve just been taught the basics since then and I really wanna become fluent because the language is so beautiful. This video is very helpful thank you
waiiit now that I think about it, I had to learn a tiny bit in school too when I was 11 ! in Canada 😛
I started learning French just this past semester at my college. I had some extra space in my schedule, so why not? BEST DECISION EVER!! I love learning about the culture, and am so excited for when I can speak more confidently and it becomes more natural
ahh that’s awesome !! It’s always cool when you get to a point in language learning where it gives you a real exclusive “members only” access/insight into a whole another culture ☺️
@4:40 I might as well be Italian cos DAMN do I talk with my hands a lot 😩🖐🏻🤙🏻👌🏻👆🏻
You said, You put so much effort on learning French. You went to American expensive university and did 1 year French course. You live in France and your boyfriend is French. Everyday you're dealing with French. I believe that You could be a best French teacher for us. I mean You can teach us French through your CZcams channel. As your English is super good i believe it will help so many international students as well as french learners. Your efforts on learning French will be worth it. Because oneday You will be in the list of R.I.P. But your helpful french learning videos will keep you alive forever.
I know, You're busy as you're an app developer and you have also your personal life but A warm request to you "Kindly teach us french as much as you know".
Very nice drawing skills, French ppl definitely look like that! Love it
thank u I did it all by myself
Wish I could be that spontaneous, meeting someone and moving in with them lol
haha I don't think moving in 8 months after meeting someone qualifies as spontaneous. I have indeed done way more spontaneous things tho 👀
Your pronunciation is really good!! Also living in France and can definitely relate with you :)
Just discovered your channel, love the content and your way of speaking, idk, j'adore! I'm looking forward to your next videos. I especially love the vlogs in France, such a vibe. Thank you!!
getting lingopie asap
🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Just discovered votre chaîne il y a qlqs minutes.you're so much fun 😍😍😍😍
What is your story for why YOU started learning French ?
One day, I was just born, and I met these 2 wonderful people, turns out they were my parents. Anyways, long story short, I was in France, they were French too, and I had to learn a whole ass new language even tho I was not even 1 years old! Crazy times, way simpler back then I'd say but I'm kinda glad it's over
So happy to discover Lingopie!! Exactly what I am looking for to improve my French! Thank you!! I am actually moving to Toulouse this Fall and your videos make me even more excited about it! Was it easy to find an internship if one is not fully proficient in French?
ahh i love the video, thank you for sharing all this with us. i've literally been checking your channel every day for over a week after binge-watching the rest of your videos haha 💕you're really busy though soo good luck w your job! and any future ventures! I've been learning french for 6 years and i plan to move france or quebec or both to get a history degree of some sort and settle there so i've gotta get fluent soon
YeS good luck with your move !! You’ll manage even if you’re nowhere near fluent (take me for example loll) but it’ll definitely make your life here less frustrating haha
I love this video!! Would you ever do one about student life in Toulouse, like where is best to go and anything you wished you'd known when you went there? I get that you've moved on but I'd love to hear about your experiences more
I'll be back in Toulouse for my last year of school so I'll be making more content there :)
I've been waiting for you to post! Thank you sm! I hope your internship is going well!! I'm hoping to move to France this September to study French! :))
Aww thank you for waiting for me to post 🥺💕 Best of luck on your move!! Did you already apply and everything ?
@@IdentitySelection Thank youuu! I've already applied and everything just waiting for my acceptance letter before I finalsie everything :)))
I love this video Melanie!
Awww merci Cecily c’est trop chou 🥰 I hope you’re enjoying your time back home and hope we cross paths again !! 🙏 xx
I'm gonna give the link to that video to Sam Fournier because she probably could use that service you talked about.
Also glad to see that you're still enjoying France so far .
Hi girl I'm very thanksful for your video, brought me back to live thus I've been thinking a lot in learn French but I didn't know how to start and my head was a mess because I think probably for me the hardest part is the pronuntation but your story inspired me so I feel empower I really hope achieve my target without doubting of myself cause your inspiration.
xoxo
Ohh please don’t doubt yourself !! I’m surrounded by french and I still can’t speak it 😭🙃 If you are motivated and have the right approach, you could even make more progress than foreigners like me actually living in a francophone country ! 🙂
@@IdentitySelection thank u 🥺🥺 you're the best 🥰 I can't wait to see your next video. Maybe the best way to improve your french it's introducing a part in each video like this one, I loved hearing you speaking in French 🤩
Your intro made me lol ☺️ new subie ✨
9:57 "Of course if I was perfectionnist in every way I'd be super successful by now" I love the face ;-)
It’s my not super successful face 👹💅🏻
i was skeptical about choosing a french course but I think if you say i can do, im sure i can lol but i love the video sm
also, i started learning french in the 4th grade as it was compulsory so obviously i hated every single moment of it but once i got the 8th grade and realised that with the DELF/DALF exams i can go exchange and actually live and school in France i took it seriously and now im in 12th grade finishing in 2 months then next year i might be first uni in Toulouse or Paris
Nice video I felt the same things. Like English is not my first language so at uni I have to triple the effort☺️
By the way where you able to work on your first year of master study in France?
I really enjoy your videos.
You technically could work, there’s a limit on how many hours you can work per year on a student visa ! ( I didn’t in the end )
Why & How I am Learning French. Interesting and engaging video. I support your video. Watched the video on March 26, 2022 rat like. Thank you so much
제가 한국어를 배워야. 화이팅하세요!
Loved this video! I’m Canadian so we started learning French in school (it was very academic though so I can’t really speak much). You mentioned you wished you had done a French masters program, and I think we are around a similar level of French. Do you have any recommendations of what level you should be at when starting a masters in French in france? I think I’m c1….but my speaking is holding me back :(
I think C1 you can definitely follow classes although it would take extra effort and stress to keep up with the work ! Speaking shouldn't hold you back in school, just socially 😔
Hi dear.
Your videos are lovely.
You definitely have a new subscriber!!
How did you cope with the language barrier when you first arrived. Since you didn't speak any french.
Funny how good your pronunciation is.
Better than a native english speaker !
you should definitively start to speak only french with your boyfriend if you want tp make more progress.
I agree with the last part ! But we already have our dynamic established in English so it's weird to speak french with him 😂 but we try sometimes !
Would you mind letting us know what your job is in Paris please?
full-stack app developer ! :)
Love all your videos! I binged them all today. :) Could you do one on how you got a job in Paris?
In a past video you’ve said you could’ve applied for the second year of master (M2), but instead you started from the beginning. Is there a reason for that? I’m kinda in the same situation you were, I’m from Argentina and want to do my masters in France :)
Hey ! It's because I wanted an extra year to adjust to the new environment and get a bit more comfortable with life here before having to worry about finding a job. I'm very glad I did !
I love french language but in Pakistan 🇵🇰 German language has much scope but I want 5o go foreign , 😑 I want to do bachelors degree in German or french ,which one will be good🥺and scope
I know a good place in the UK to learn French, All Bar One...
do you know how interesting your life is?
😂😂 do you like France better than the US?
