I am studying in class 10 now , surfing some good career opportunities as next year I will complete my 10th , Want to know your experience while studying interior designing , After becoming interior designer , Are you satisfied and happy with your work life ? , and are excellent drawing skills absolutely necessary for pursuing interior designing ? ....and one more thing .....what are the options to study interior design right after class 10 and do you recommend doing so ?...is there an option to opt for diploma after 10th and then go for degree?...... Hii Prem For sure you have lots of quires but I am more than happy to answer them all 😍 1. yes for sure I am happy, Kinda in love with this field its a bit tough for a fresher but once u get used to all the technical parts of it everything goes well. 2. no its not at all important to be a good artist, i mean rough line drawing works....3. why not do 12th , I wont recommend skipping your high school what's the rush, puri life h yar take it step by step .... bhoot hectic field h so enjoy ur high school life first then jump on to a professional field 4. no idea u will have to search for that. i hope i was able to answer all your question ( everything I say is purely out of my experience in this field u can always go ahead and consult a career counselor for the same )

Hii yes i would say do some diploma course after your bachelor's in interiors and then maybe apply in colleges where they take students from any background ( bachelor's specific) u can do this research pre hand , diploma will help you understand the basics of Design before entering masters level of Design

Yaaaas allot of institutes have individual exams and then u have one common one for most of the top design Colleges thats ( UCEED) 😉

hmm, you can opt for any diploma course at get go and then jump to any masters program to get a basic idea about design in the first place and then ( Start studying online aswell) and then go for masters....

@Asmita there is only difference of duration des is 4 year course and i think you should probably choose b des cause there be more clarify.
Hiii Asmita , i think any of the two is fine whats more important is the corse code if the college you are thinking to get enrolled has Bsc. then compare the course code from colleges taht are Providing Bdes .
and then decide which one to opt for year does not matter.

Sorry am not aware of particular banglore colleges , but for sure adter NID , UID is a great option , cept , iit for industrial design , design village , jd institute if u want to do diploma , amity university in private universities ( noida branch ) 🙃

Hii , U will have to research that I am not aware of it many private colleges do allow students from all spheres but again I am not aware of any specific college that does. amity used to but they have changed it I believe.
Should we study architecture to become I. Design, can we go through BBM degree?...
I mean if u want to have an option of designing buildings then do architecture , but if u want to just work in the Interior part of it then choose BID

Hi Alice, Answer to your curiosity is yes you can, I mean yes you would be eligible to do so in any college, most of the colleges across India have their own entrance exams I belive, rest on general exams which you can find online .... what to expect .... sleepless nights, software to learn, different projects to work on, from regulating mood boards and concept boards for projects to services like plumbing and sanitation, etc...

Also if it's necessary I can learn but after completing the course do we need to attend interviews n get selected in the companies can't we start our own business???
@@myyou632 See nothing is important if u don't want to do it but an electrical guy would need a electrical drawings rcp layout flooring layout , details that tell how things would be fixed on site , u learn it yourself or maybe hire someone but in order to get your work done from somebody u should also be aware of stuff. 🙃

Can i know the front elevation design of a property is carried by the architect or interior designer .
Can be done by both , if its just about the finishing and design both can do that , if its about the structural aspect and design of building then only architects. ( Designers can help with the finishing elements of an existing elevation)

If u willing to work as an architect then u need certificate but for interior designing no. U only need experience to get projects

Hii , great yar if have decided to enroll in Interiors thats the first step.... Hmm i wont be the best person to guide on that , but at ny time when i was enrolled once my result was out and i was selected i did go to admin department and asked them for loan and stuff they basically check ur 12th marks and tell if u are eligible for loan or not. You can do that from ur own bank aswell . I believe 🙈... Thats rhe max i know about this 🌟

Hii , Sorry But I am unable to read your name. but still prefers interior designing as a career don't sound like it's for student below average 😅 having said that. u can choose whatever genre you want in your 11th standard and go on with that as you would be eligible for interiors. Ceed, Cept and other design-related examinations are there which u can prepare for and get into a design college do your bachelors learn for few years practicing under somebody and then maybe masters or start your own practice. very simple and fun too. ( not saying designing is as simple as it sounds) 😅 😅 😅 I hope I could answer your question. All the best

Hii 4yrs to max that is for graduation and if u wish to do masters 2added years.....i believe different colleges have different eligibilty criteria on an average anything above 50-60%

I hope u do crack neet 3 years is long commitment , but in case you decide to shift to design this is a beautiful field too, to answer ur question yes entrance exams hotai h nov -dec mai they realise forms u can check them i guess for next year Uceed is closed u can always check and confirm .. rest allot of Design Colleges have thier own personal exams u can choose college of ur choice and then look through thier admission procedure 🙋i hope this helps

Hii khushi 🌞 , no I won't until its from institutes like jd institute vha ka course code and faculties kafi achai h compared to many colleges , except that i believe spending 3yrs in one academic senerio and not earning a bachelor's degree is not what i would recommend as then you cannot later persue Masters in the same ( you won't be eligible).....

@@khushigadhiya Bachelors in design ( BID, BSC) but if the School you are considering offers better course code then you can do that and if later on you want to pursue masters then you can do Any part time Graduation along with your diploma. all of this only if you plan to do masters if not then you can do this diploma and later work once you are done.

You certainly wont learn allot of subjects history services but necessary enough to get placed like softwares and stuff ..... Bacis principals ( for that i would say compare the course code to any University graduation programme .... That will help u get better idea of weather to pursue or not.

Help full yes , Worth it hmmmm anything is worth if u do it right... yes u can defiantly get jobs but allot of companies prefer bachelors students over diploma holders. having said that In this field portfolio and ur knowledge matters most over rest so if that's strong doesn't matter what u have done

Hiii ,Yes I am hope u are too. U can go for masters in design programs , for that u will have to research a bit for colleges that allow students from any field for there masters program . if not that u can go for advance design diploma program and then do internship under design or architectural firms that practice interiors. this would be the correct approach to learn and practice.

See with my experience it mostly depends on your portfolio , generally as a fresher you may start as low as 10k to 20k and with experience it can go from 20k to 40 k in 2yrs again depending on your work portfolio...
Also if you can start all by yourself ,like freelance projects or like full project designing with execution .... You may earn triple the amount what you would be earning in a daily job ,but for handling projects all by yourself you need to have experience of work ,just to get the exact idea of how it works 🙈i hope i could help🌞🌞🌞🌞all the best

Hii Snehal , I get what you are saying , yar har college ka fees structure different hota h , jha aap apply krne ki soch rhe ho vha kya fees h apko dekhna padega .... Also make sure aap 3years ka diploma na kro , agr Diploma krna h to 2yrs vala kro....koi set books ya material code nae hota iss field mai that i recommend you once you join some University you they will give you assignments and refral books for specific subjects.....i hope this could help

At times thier are so many changes last minute that drawings needs to get revised again and again.... Alllot goes into it. alloooooot🙈 not scaring nobody juat the reality its fun but hectic too at times

yes , autocad for 2d drawing production , for 3d - basic is sketchup which is used majourly , then 3ds max you can choose any one of the two , then for presentation of drawings - photoshop , ms , illustrator.....take one software at a time

I strongly Disagree with the statement you made on 2:55 " It is not important to have a degree to be a Interior Designer in India" I myself am a Studying in final year of BVOC Architectural Interior Designing from Rachana Sansad . If someone is polished from a degree course he/she is surely well trained as compared to any other diploma course and is very much eligible to be called a Designer. I see people doing 2-3months course calling themselves Architects and Designers is so pathetic where the fact is they are just pathetic Decorators like these Gauri Khan and Twinkle Khana who don't even know a shit about designing. Anyways the point is it does make a huge difference if an individual is doing Architecture/ Architectural Interiors(BVOC)/ Interior Designing Diploma/ 2-3 months Decorator course
Hii brother , i completely understand from where your concern is coming , i myself have done Four years interior degree program , and for me its very irritating aswell that people do 3months certificate course and call themselves as Designers , but brother the reality is , there are these courses and yes they are worth doing not everybody can afford a degree program of 9lakh from a good University , not everybody can crack NID , UID calling yourself architect after doing any diploma is illegal anyways , if somebody is doing so then thats illegal and actions are associated with that which surely can be taken against them ......
Yes these courses are there , see in any field you will find this bunch of people who had the privilege of doing something and achieving few things which are not that easy for few else.....we as creative /technical people can do our best to outshine them someday....
