      If someone is doing job of civil engineer, and want to be a interior designer. Can he become, not done course 3d max etc. (only having AutoCAD, and his own creative ideas).

      I am strong believer you can be anybody that you want to be , your education can help u built a career but cannot rule it , But I would ask you one question can an interior designer work as a civil engineer ?!!!! Or lets put it this way should one ?!!
      When it come to Interior Designing creativity is one thing Nd technical aspect is one but i believe after doing 4yrs graduation program its very important to learn basics of Designing any space ....sketchup , max , autocad are just technical supports for the process....
      Answer is yes but i would recommend getting a degree or some sort of education to know basics and complexes of it.....
      I hope i could help 🌞

      @@KarthikR-ex8vp kartik see obviously not comparing bachelor's and diploma program wont be the best idea... Having said that research for good design institutes that offer 1yr program and if u want u can directly after that start working but understand that the growth would be very slow .... But eventually it will go up 🤩 once you gain some experience in the field lets say 1yr after your diploma.... If u are confident enough u can start taking freelance projects....
      Mastwrs degree is always a plus but not mandatory , in india unfortunately there is no certification required to be a designer ( which is a plus in such situations ) but i do recommend doing masters if u get time....

If yours cost a lot, what alternative would you suggest for sketching and designing your own house (few times of usage). I'm not a fan of free trials as I can't always do my work within that period of time and feel stressed out knowing all the hard work, it will be gone after that time. Looking forward to your alternatives. Thanks in advance :)

      Hii Prem For sure you have lots of quires but I am more than happy to answer them all 😍 1. yes for sure I am happy, Kinda in love with this field its a bit tough for a fresher but once u get used to all the technical parts of it everything goes well. 2. no its not at all important to be a good artist, i mean rough line drawing works....3. why not do 12th , I wont recommend skipping your high school what's the rush, puri life h yar take it step by step .... bhoot hectic field h so enjoy ur high school life first then jump on to a professional field 4. no idea u will have to search for that. i hope i was able to answer all your question ( everything I say is purely out of my experience in this field u can always go ahead and consult a career counselor for the same )

    • @AbhilashaVasudev
      @AbhilashaVasudev  Před 2 lety

      Good question i will say but the answer is NO , interiors is a field that has emerged from architecture over period of time...As over time the scale of work and built spaces has increased so much that just an architect can not and should not take the burden of designing and executing both interiors and exterior structure .... Hence both fields are very much interdependent but nobody will overtake nobody's field.... Yes few architectural students incline towards interior spaces and work but then that is every field... Allot of interior desigers also go set designing soo its very natural and depends on person to person 🌼

    I have some questions
    1.While doing diploma do we need that expensive high end laptop
    2. In quora and in some website they are saying that after doing diploma in interior designing you don't need to be graduate create good portfolio work as intern in big companies or with big architecture after that i can get job in any interior designing firm
    3. Can you give me an amazon link or the name of a laptop used by interior designer
    Please mam don't ignore this message

    • @AbhilashaVasudev
      @AbhilashaVasudev  Před 4 lety +5

      hii , no u dont need high end laptop , i would say invest in pc insted of laptop , but if you need laptop then make sure you buy laptop with atleast 4gb graphic card and as graphics is most important in interiors if your work is around 2d and 3d and less on site .
      point two yes being a graduate in this field does not sound cool as you learn way better in the field and not in colleges and schools but , if we talk about payscale of a graduate and a diploma holder then its considerabily higher , and if you are a master degree holder in the same then it can be as high as you can [possibly think in good firms . graduate courses mai course code diploma saizayda hota h and achai colleges mai material exposuree bhi its very important to learn in college as you learn to deal with diffrent people , present yourself , and working on diffrent projects gives you clarity ki which stream you want o go in ( residential or commercial , corporate , events etc)
      but saying that i would say diploma is no bad , get done with your diploma , do paid interships ( be good with your softwares) learn from your internship , apply for job and gain experience.this field is more practical knowledge and less about school.

For better understanding you have to reach out to somebody that has done their education from either Canada or any sort of education counselor. 2nd.... a designer can venture out to become so much more than a Interior designer , you can pursue production design ( Set design ) , exhibition design , visual merchandiser , product design , furniture design , lighting designer and many more. types to yar as such I don't know in what reference u are asking lakin yes u can choose what space u want to be a designer for if u like core interior spaces then u can venture out commercial , corporate, residential design in particular. i can go and on about it 😅 i hope i answered some of what you where asking 🌼
