Hey man, i absolutely respect you as a climber/athlete/person! You post mid climbs, and are always out there doing what you love and REALLY reaching out to your audience in a real way. It is unfortunate that certain athletes will always get more attention/press..however, you have to take every blessing, because they are trusting to pass that energy back to you. You have gained subscribers not solely based on storror subscribers, but the way you delivered it and helped educate/document the process. 🙏🏼🌠 Keep up the hard work and most importantly, stay safe! Someone needs to make “Toby Tries...”, where he goes around trying different non-mainstream sports with experts in each sport... I would watch him try anything! This series has been amazing, thanks guys!
He is one of those talented dudes that could do very well in most extreme sports, and mainstream ones too.

The dynamic between you two is really what made this series special. Two guys at the top of their games in their own disciplines coming together to cheer each other on and do something amazing. I definitely don't think you could sub in any ole trad climber in for Pete and have this go as well as it did, or be as entertaining as it was. Just a pleasure to watch you two working together and having fun pushing the boundaries.
CZcams tends to be so loud and shouty, it’s nice to watch guys who are just chilled out 👍🏼
I never expected this 5 part series or Alex Honnold taking Magnus soloing but they are strangely similar.
A very small niche where 2 experts take capable climbers out of their comfort zones and produce some quality insight

It gets me a bit emotional, listening to Toby talk about pushing himself. Do you guys even know (yourselves or even Storror) how significant it is that you film these activities and life moments for CZcams. There are a LOT of people, both disabled and able bodied, who will simply never A - be able to do this sort of thing or B - ever even want to...but we get to watch it all here. We get to live vicariously through you guys and it's absolutely wonderful. Thank you so much for being you.
This series was my favorite set of climbing videos I've ever seen! I've only ever bouldered, but this series has made multi pitch and trad climbing seem so much more approachable!

As a 58 year old Trad climber, I knew nothing of Parkour before you guys had him on your channel. Since then I must’ve watched pretty much all of Storror’s content and loved it because of Toby’s infectious personality …. wish I was somewhat younger🤣 However it did make me wonder how much someone in a permanent urban environment that loves to climb would feel when s**t gets proper wild, now I know…..he seemed suitably impressed 👌
Many urban areas are good for climbing as well as parkour ... like the "bridge crack" stuff which the Wide Boyz (and other crack climbers) did in Scotland and other places ... and the "escape from a moat" stuff from STORROR (many houses are built out of bricks and offer some holds). It is a natural crossover of climbing into parkour.

Definitely the best climbing series I've seen. Dawn Wall was a brilliant doc, but watching Toby learn trad and put into practice was bloody amazing. So humbling even for a viewer.

Loved watching this. Toby. You are a legend. After 26 years of climbing I have hit a mental block. Don’t want to lead, feel weak and terrible when I get to the wall. You killed it brother. I need to get it together watching you just clip and rip was amazing.

This series was so flippin great, seeing what Pete can do with ease through Tobys eyes puts it into another perspective. And then -are there more likeable blokes thanthese two ?? I think not :D Finally, massive respect to Toby for just trusing and going in feet first!

I had similar feelings watching the hairy moments in this as I did watching Freesolo, that's saying something.
I am pretty sure these 5 days would have miserably failed with most people of similar climbing knowledge and ability. IMO the main reason it was such a success is Toby's incredible ability to push through the fear (possibly somewhat out of ignorance with gear placements, falls and trad-ing on choss but still). This must come from doing roof gaps and all the parkour shit they do day to day which is equally terrifying -or more.
I mean doing what he did and not being able to clip the rope in properly just shows how far in the deep end Pete sent him. Props to Pete as well to keep his cool and pulling off this magic trick with Toby :O
The whole series has been a great watch !!! Your personality’s compliment each other so well ,I’m surprised you haven’t been approached to create a series travelling and exploring other extreme sports ? or it’s an idea ! 🤗

Loved this video and hearing about the relatable fear of just jamming as hard as you can and feeling no pain because of the fear of falling, then when you get to the top your hands are all kinds of messed up lol. Cant wait for Petes Parkour Progression series, thats actually what I started in before climbing as well

This whole series is fookin awesome. How much anchor building trianing did you do with Toby beforehand? You always seemed super confident things were bomber even when swinging leads on your new route with unknown belays. Looking forward to watching you guys climb more together
we only did a small amount of anchor building, but from that I could see he understood what to do.

I actually only found out about storror from this channel. Which big shout out to you guys because I did parkour when I was a kid so those boys are hella good vibes because that died as quick as it came in the Midwest.

Have you thought about training someone with zero ability, a compleat newb. How long would it take a none athleat to be able to get to Tobys level. And is fear of heights something that can be overcome. Love the series BTW, you 2 work good together.
