You guys nailed it. Fox Transfer and CB Highline!
My 9.8 Fall Line has never let me down after two years.
My experience with the RF Turbine dropper has been great so far. I own two and haven’t had any issues (other than the install being slightly complicated) after using them for a couple years. I agree that the Fox and CB posts are nice too.
Kevin Hill I run the RF turbine as well on my suspension bike - it’s a great dropper. Never had an issue with it once I got my head around the setup.
It’s been reliable and solid.
I might try the Fox post on my Hardtail -
Got a KS LEV integra. Had “issues “ with it dropping down slowly while climbing. Replaced the nitro stick (part that moves in and out) and 1 year later it’s starting to do the same .
Will definitely give the fox transfer a go . Not gunna be buying a ks lev again, wasn’t exactly cheap!
Great, thx for being concise.
Definitely agree. I have a Reverb stealth on my FS bike and the Transfer on my hardtail. Hands down the Transfer is better. Simpler, nicer feel and even better lever position.
Truth!
Fox Transfer working great for me so far. Pretty easy install as well.
After going through three rockshox, I'll stick with my 9point8, thanks.
Yea reverb suck,, they should lock in place but you can pull it up and it sucks air into it, bad design. Fox is solid.
When it works it's super good, but it's fucked that after half a year it gets super bouncy
I've been beating the snot out of my ks and i haven't had a single issue. Very impressed with the dependability.
Really? Mine is full of scrathes and works like crap after bareley a year
I love the reverb when it works. I bought my hightower in juni, and ever since oktober I have had problems with it being bouncy. I had to use the reset tool every ride, and it still get squishy after 10min.
Still rocking that that quick release seatpost
Thanks for the thoughtful review. This is like a LBS recommendation on steroids since you move more stock.
That is exactly what we are going for in all our videos. A helpful review from a shop but with more data and experience :)
Thanks for watching.
Good honest stuff! (my RF rigid post has been working great for years now) ;)
Thank you!
THX bro !
Wanted the Fox but the external mount needs longer depth than my 2011 Stumpjumper has available. The KS Lev fits. This is confirmed by Fox, look up the fit chart before buying.
I got the reverb stealth, it gets real slow in cold conditions. I'm going fox most likely because all my stuff is fox. But I'd consider raceface and one up because its affordable and I like supporting one up.
Nice dude, Whistler 2018?
THOMSON THOMSON THOMSON!!! I have been riding the Covert for a couple years now and have never had any issues with it.
They are really good
Mine has gotten to the end of its life as it is going very slowly now
I’ve had half of it replaced but no good
.noted it’s 3 and a half years old
How about a video top 3 bang for your buck droppers? The cheapest and works great ones 🤙🏼
Thank you for the review that fox transfer will be good for hardtail rock hppoer for trail riding xc downhill here in bay area san jose. Thank you.
true words. good as always!
and adding to does the Ks Exaform??thanks again
Agreed!
Thanks for the great content. What can you say about the X-fusion Manic?
To be honest I have never tried it but a great value for the money. Let us know if you have any other questions :)
On that matter I think brands should focus more on mechanism. I can see myself spending lots of money just to see it screw if by mistake I fell off the bike
Value for money and reliability is the brand x ascend
I just got the 100th comment. That’s cool. Also sweet vid guys 🤘🏻
I have bought rock shock and its stop working after couple mounths. sad. fox a bit too expensive for me, probably I will go for CB
Fox Transfer for the WIN!!!!
I wonder what the differences between the posts are though?
Hi also from this post, witch one do you think is best? I want one with internal cables and that you have the button or shifter to put on the handlebar of the bike? Thanks
Satori Sorata Pro Dropper Seatpost 31.6x410mm T125mm,
Kind Shock Adjustable Seatpost 31.6mmx385mm Travel: 100mm 20mm Offset Handlebar Remote,
Satori Sorata Pro Dropper Seatpost 31.6x410mm T125mm ...
I personally have a Rock Shox Reverb with a Wolf Tooth cable conversion kit. Works amazing, but I need to rebuild it soon. Do you guys have any kits for that?
Bearing in mind the fox transfer is £300 + £75 for a fucking lever
Do a video on OneUp components dropper
Will consider it! Thanks!
What's your opinion of the ExFusion dropper?
The best videos
Hey thanks! :)
Hello I want a seatpost that is ineternally routed I don't want to see the cable I want the cable to go trough the frame from the bottom of the seat post. is this item you sell KS eTen Integra Dropper Seatpost, 31.6, 100mm Travel, Black , what I want? or do you see the cable outside of the seatpost and the frame? since I put the name of the product on youtube and well I see there on videos that the cable is visible and not though the frame?
Thanks
I've been running a Giant contact switch for 3 years with no issues and no maintenance apart from a good clean.
@Worldwide Cyclery Does the KS only go full up/down or can you stop it at intermediate positions?
The KS posts have "infinite adjustment" which means it can be stopped at any point in it's travel. :)
Do they sell service kits for the Fox Transfer or is it serviced by Fox\bike shops? Thanks...
Typically they will have to be sent in to Fox for service :)
Cheers lege
What about the race face turbine dropper?
can KS Lev use internal cable routing? or only external rounting pls?
Which is the easiest to repair if it blows out? Or do they have to go back? So far the only hydraulic work I have done is the friction seals on my fox rear shock. That was well OK, not too difficult. Could you give us level of difficulty ratings?
They are all pretty similar for repair. You can do it yourself and small parts are widely available. I think the Reverb is probably best when it comes to small part availability. But they are all very hard to work on yourself. We typically send them back to the manufacture since it isn't cost effective for us to do them in house. A lot of places service RockShox. Fox and KS both have US based service locations you can ship the posts to.
Thanks! Being based in Canada, shipping and customs can cost quite a bit and introduce delays, so that impacts the calculus a bit for cost-effectiveness of doing at-home repair. If it were out of warranty, I might try it myself. If I mess it up, it could still go back the factory, I hope.
Hello I just bought specialized camber 29 what is the best dropper post for this bike. Pls help me
Thanks for watching. You should send out guys an email at info@worldwidecyclery.com they can ask you the right questions to help you find the dropper post that will work best for you! :)
Can i get that fox dropper post for the low low being you guys damaged it lol
How has the e13 TRS+ been, warranty and reliability wise?
Very solid, definitely a good option!
Worldwide Cyclery thanks! Keep to the great work!
My story goes like this had my bike about a month KONA 153dl should come with a KS lev integra but the guy broken it and instead of ordering another he ordered an Ascend dropper post that only cost £100.00 Only notice when I upgrade my seat, cut the story short went and compliant about this issue he offer to upgrade to a reverb foc, hope she serves me well as the Ascend did 😊
the thomsom..qualify to be among these ?? or is it very bad product ??
We haven't really had an opportunity to test out the Thomson seat posts so I couldn't say much about them!
Hello I have a Question what do you think about the Syncros Dropper 2.0?? Thanks
I have not had any experience with the Syncros Dropper. All three of the posts in the review are our top sellers and each has their loyal fans. :)
Thank you for the answer and what about witch of this can be good for the price?Kind Shock Adjustable Seatpost 31.6mmx385mm Travel: 100mm 20mm Offset Handlebar Remote, Satori Sorata Pro Dropper Seatpost 31.6x410mm T125mm, Ks Exaform ... I'm looking for a good nice seatpost, with internal cables 31.6, and with the button on the handlebar, that is not too expensive or do you have another suggestion for another one not too expensive. Thanks.
The KS is most likely going to be the most affordable and has great customer support. I would reach out to our team at info@worldwidecycley.com they can help you find what you need. :)
Thanks
How much do you guys charge for dropper post installation?
Depends internal or external and the frame. Give us a ring - 805-375-4525
Is it just me, or is ks the only one that doesn't have sloppy side side wiggle play?
All those have a little lateral play?
I would say that it is slight. If you are looking for zero perceivable play try the SDG Tellis. The nose never seems to have play left and right.
THX again ;) that's what i was looking for the play on dropper is a little annoying for me....
Would you recommend riders over 300lbs to not use drop posts like the Fox? Would they break?
synndakitt honestly that's a tough question. We have no experience there. Sorry :( Fix might know though.
synndakitt stop being fat
Do any handle heavy riders somewhat better?
None are specifically designed for "heavier riders" but the Fox Transfer has been the most durable from our experience under all circumstances.
Until literally one day ago, I would have simply saved my money and gotten a Oneup or PNW dropper, because I need at least 200mm (being 6' 6" has disadvantages). Of these three, the Reverb was the only one over 175mm, and I don't really care if its gotten more reliable, I don't particularly want a hydraulic dropper.
Thankfully, Fox just released a 200mm Transfer (they've updated the lever as well), and if I was to make a "money no object" build it's definitely what I'd run.
Unfortunately, were I to get a dropper today I'd still get the Oneup for cost reasons, as my budget is more Polygon Siskiu than Yeti SB130.
Gravity Dropper, all day every day
Briefly owned a gravity dropper turbo LP: had to fiddle with it more than I ever got to ride it. Actuation and operation was chancy and never satisfying. Got a Thomson and never had to deal with bullshit again.
@@i.e.sergio And I've had a gravity dropper for 6 years, trouble free.
@@Radke32 cool. I was just noting my experience: fiddly, and I'm not really satisfied with the mechanism. The dropper retention bolt, I found, had chancy retention and actuation, even after I replaced parts.
bikeyoke
Fox transfer is the best.
Okay so, I just bought a Fox Transfer (ebay theproscloset), new, but old enough to be out of warranty with Fox. The problem out of the box... will not actuate. Can anyone point me to a cause, and solution? Looked for this problem on the net... could not find anything. Thanks.
return it
@@james-hb5tu yeah, I wound up having to day that.
But KS LEV is carbon?
Amazing how reverb sucks,i had 2 both developed play just after 2,3 months
Can I have wwc t shirt?
Flex LCS sure! Send us an email and say Jeff said you could have a free shirt! :)
Worldwide Cyclery 😲 We wants the precious! We neeeeds it! You still giving out free t-shirts?!
its lev not l-e-v
It's leviosa. Not leviosAAAA.
It's tomato not potato! Haha.
