And thank jeebus angel has permanently left the chat.
if you are a young pitcher right now.. this is the man/channel to watch. the in-depth knowledge Trevor gives you.. outstanding.
No one cares about your opinion
People don’t understand how much facts this is!!
just dont take his advice on literally anything else 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Rhythm in between deliveries and pitch selection plus placement. Trevor did a great job explaining the where and why. Also, in pitching, like a jab in boxing, not every fastball has to be full force. Want more movement? Take a little off. Want quicker movement put a little extra on.
@@havanaradio what else?
Props to Marty he backed up his claim of a .200 average
Mendoza Marty!
You're watching Marty hitting thinking "Jesus, he looks so uncomfortable on every pitch in the box", and then you realize, "oh yeah, he's facing a cy young winner throwing 95 with a knee-buckling curve; I'm pretty sure I'd look even worse up there" haha
I think he put up better battles than Eric ever has.
It's because he was scared to swing so he didn't chase anything lol
I love how serious Bauer is during this whole thing.
This guy doesn’t look like he has an athletic bone in his body but he backed up his claim, props to him
He played college baseball
Shocker, some skinny people are actually athletic. Who would’ve thought.
Bauer doesn't exactly look like a pro athlete either.
The insight behind each pitch and setting him up is great.
One of the best baseball CZcams channels out right now
😮💜
I’m English and have never played competitive baseball, but I come here because it’s so good to have such in-depth insight into the mindset of an elite sportsman.
That's so cool to hear. Understanding the inner workings of the game really changes how you watch it. People say baseball is boring but they don't fully understand the battle that goes on with every pitch. It gets even more in depth when you start hearing how a defensive minded fielder positions themselves with every pitch. Having a batter explain the mindset of how they approach each pitch is also really cool. There's a whole chess match going on with every pitch.
Marty Mush definitely wasn't breaking down his approach in his head. He was gripping it and ripping it, but he has a good batter's eye.
This was a fun video to watch. The live ab's are always neat to see!
@@ParaRob I’m an avid cricket player and fan, so baseball seems like a lightning-paced rollercoaster to me! Jokes aside though you’re exactly right, I originally just bought a couple of gloves and a bat back in 2008 as a different way to practice my throwing and hitting for cricket, but ended up getting really into the sport - go Phils!
@Ben-rq5re I've only just gotten into watching cricket over the last couple of years. It's such a fun game to spectate, and I know I'd love playing if I had the chance. The games I would watch were almost always in a different language, so I had to kind of teach myself the game by watching and using Googke to understand the rules. I watch a channel called Jomboy Media. He does GREAT breakdowns from different sports. Sometimes they're funny, and other times, they're breaking down great sequences and great plays. He has done a few breakdowns of cricket bowlers and how they changed their pitches up. I was already aware of how important defensive positioning can be, but learning how the bowlers will throw balls moving in different directions, etc, really helped me see a bigger correlation between cricket and baseball. Jomboy isn't a pro athlete, but he does such a good job at overlaying video to show pitch movement, etc. He also covers a wide variety of sports. They just created a new channel called Wharehouse Games and they play an indoor version of cricket they call "ball in play." They had a few members from the newly formed US cricket league playing on different teams as well as a pro cricket player from across the pond.
If you're ever looking for some fun new sports content, Jomboy Media is a great one to watch and if you want to see a bunch of dudes getting together and playing different sports in a warehouse, you might like the warehouse games. Jomboy's breakdowns are very easy to binge watch because they aren't long and drawn out and he does such a great job with them. I hope you have time to check it out and enjoy it!
I live near St Louis, Missouri, so I grew up a Cardinals fan my whole life. They weren't too great last year, but they've got potential to really give some teams a run for their money. The Phils are a heck of a team to watch with a bunch of talent! You've got a good favorite team to root for. For me, nothing will ever pull me from being a Cardinals fan. The 2011 World Series and David Freese heroics was one of if not the craziest sports moment I've ever witnessed. If you aren't familiar with that series and how game 6 ended and game 7 started, I suggest checking it out. I still get goosebumps when I watch it. The atmosphere in that stadium was amazing. The craziest part is that Freese actually went to high-school in the area and I knew people who went to school with him. Hometown hero type of stuff. Lol!!
Okay, I think I've rambled on enough. Lol!! Sorry about that. I love talking sports! Hopefully you have some time to watch Jomboys breakdowns or that game 6 of the 2011 world series. It's great stuff!
Thanks for taking the time to read this and for your previous response! It was cool crossing paths with ya. Best wishes to ya!
Trevor's curveball is an extremely underrated pitch, super sharp and breaks like a whiffle ball, absolutely nasty.
I still don’t understand how he isn’t signed yet bro a great pitcher he just keeps getting better and better every day
Teams don’t want to take the media side of it and they’re keeping their fans opinions in mind as stupid as it is. If teams want to win they would
like kershaw
@tyguide8868 gotta believe all women even if they lie lol
@@cjaythrowsit’s the biggest hit job in sports history.
Marty impressed me dude talked and backed it up, still envy kids growing up who get amazing content like this from a pro pitcher
I’m not surprised by this Marty is a legit ballplayer. Nice job Marty you love to see it.
No way he’s seen anything like this ever in his life let alone 80% of what this was in probably 5-10 years.
So impressive
Props to Marty for hanging in there....but It's also much easier to squeak out a couple hits when you face that same pitcher for 50 straight pitches. If you got 1 AB every 45 minutes(like a game), it's a whole different world of stringing hits together.
@PreppinShootinLivin imagine trying to discredit this 😂😂 no shit it'd be different if he was in an actual PRO BASEBALL game. Push your glasses a lil higher on your nose and you'd be able to see how dumb you look trying to look smart.
So cool to get the pichers mentality during the AB. Love Trevor's videos and pitching style. Bring him back to MLB!
Never lose that inner competitor in you Trevor. That’s what makes you so great! We love to see it man you’re awesome
4:18 The way Bauer paused the sword animation to catch the ball was so smooth
Props Trevor doing this
Best ‘hanging out on the field with friends’ videos. Love learning here
Great job Marty! I thought you wouldn´t make any contact at all.
Fun stuff, enjoy watching. Keep the videos coming .
2 for 9 with a Walk, pretty impressive lol

@@PreppinShootinLivinget trevors ghat out ur mouth marty hasnt played in years and he owned this FORMER major leaguer
@@dylanmarotta6928 lol
@@dylanmarotta6928 .200 isn't owning anything. He did respectable for a non-player.
@@Dee-nonamnamrson8718.200 for a guy who is an employee of barstool and you saying it's just respectable really shows your just Trevor Bauer on am alt or your just litteraly a weird fan boy of this guy who's whole career was made by foreign substances
good stuff. Hope to see you do more with barstool
Trevor, Your channel is amazing. Love your content and sincerely wish you get another chance in the bigs. You deserve it. Thank you and the people associated here for everything you do to make these vids.
Fuggin Marty knocking it all over the park! haha good job Marty
this was so awesome haha
This and main Momentum channel are by far the best baseball channels out there!! Hey Milwaukee....sign Trev!! :)
ERIC SIM
Best crossover ever.
Trevor shows us why a pitcher is sucessful getting hitters out 75% of the time for a .250 hitter, his pitches are incredible, as a former college player I would be lucky to get one hit. I appreciate the content, the extreme training and awesome pitches from Trevor, come back to MLB, Seattle needs you!
oh yes another video of trev dismantling smoes🔥🔥🔥
This is genuinely a far better battle than I thought it would be
I learned more in this 10 minute video than I did my Entire "Little League" "Career" about pitching. Thanks Trevor AMD your entire crew.
Awesome video and content. Nice job
Impressive battling
Absolutely love that Trevor was willing to do this. Makes me like him even more!
That was impressive, his first swing had my laughing..but he put it in my play. Nice
Way to go Marty💪. Love the way you have grinded your way back in BS. And great in the combine. Please continue. Dont sleep on the succes. Wish the best for you and your fiancy.
The Royals need to be in talks with you! They need you!
great video. you rock Big T
This was crazy impressive
I just wamna see you pitch any league this summer. It was fun traveling to Japan and see their baseball environment with you
This is great content
Another day another upload
Guy's throwing 95 and cant get a contract?
He threw as high as 99 in Japan last year... crazy he isn't in the league
There's no way this guy should've made any contact against him. Bauer would get destroyed in MLB now
This average Joe just got two hits on him and you’re questioning why’s he’s not in the league? 😂🤣
@@hosayistheway8726 Did he though? Even a blind squirrel finds an acorn every now and again
@@hosayistheway8726not hard to hit a laser straight fastball. I do it all the time. It’s the other pitches that throw you off and lock you up.
Marty really surprised me
W idol for me love your content Trevor and hope you get back in the big leagues
This is awesome !!! My guy hacks but Trevor’s explanation of every pitch and purpose is amazing 👍🏼 SIM take notes !!!!
love you trev. can’t wait to see you in the bigs again
Great content. Young pitchers pay attention you can learn a lot from awesome information. The thought process and hitter queues.
LETS GO TB!
This is so hilarious because Trevor Bauer must not know who Marty is. He's giving him so much respect, honestly. Props to Marty tho that's actually impressive.
4:57 Eric sounds like an older Carl Wheezer LOL
Someone sign this guy!
This was awesome! Eric should arrange a challenge between Trevor Baur and Will from Bat Bros! That'll be nice to watch!
Much respect for even touching a ball. I played college at a high level and I'm not touching one of these.
Love marty mush cant wait to see his version of this
Honestly? Mad respect to Marty.
Also loved the pitch by pitch breakdown talking through the why hes throwing each pitch. More of both of these please.
I like how your eyes disengage before the next talking point or video clip. Tism gang
We need Trevor over a million subs by summer.
that one 12-6 you threw was so filthy
Just so you know I made a meme with your picture that says sign me. My friend and I are posting it on every Mets site possible lol 😂
I miss seeing this man play. He was always fun to watch.
Great video. Would love to have you back in LA!
@BauerOutage What pitch selection do you go thru on hitters you haven't faced before? Especially guys like this that don't have a scouting report.
Just to be clear, no advice on the thought process level is for one specific situation. Trevor explaining why he chose which pitch is how you should be thinking in everything competitive. Every choice should be done with intent so that, when it fails, you aren't lost on how to fix it. This allows you gain an advantage on others who arent intentional actors
I really enjoy Trevors content
as a person who has never played baseball in his life, the way the ball can drop so quickly blows my mind
Marty Mush not even the haters in the barstool chat can take this away! Good stuff MUSH!
Great content Trevor!
The slider at 5.41 was an absolute meatball.
Hey orioles SIGN THIS MAN. Corbin and trevor at the top of the rotation would be special in #BIRDLAND the city LOVES blue collar dudes like trevor. The whole sword gimmick would be LOVED.
I wasn’t expecting a single hit. He had Bauer feeling salty. 😂
This was pretty awesome, loved Trevors comments has he was talking about each AB, really showing how a pitcher thinks about hitters.
7:13 bro couldn’t believe the promo😭
Nah when he got a single fast I even said oh shit 🤣🤣🤣
I admire Trevor's competitive nature. Love the passion.
I admire how trash he is now. Buddy let a schlub get two hits and a walk off him. Incredible
He definitely put up better at bats than Sim🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Stuff looking good. Wish you were a cub
Angles sign this guy please
They would still be the worst team in the league....unfortunately
Toronto
which angle ? 45 degrees ?
@@SadBoys.199669 degrees
lol that last fastball was absolutely fucking filthy lol
This was fun to watch...can't believe dude looking like an accountant made contact like a H.S. baseball player. Well done Marty!
Props to Marty for hanging in there....but It's also much easier to squeak out a couple hits when you face that same pitcher for 50 straight pitches. If you got 1 AB every 45 minutes(like a game), it's a whole different world of stringing hits together.
That was dope
That’s my boy mush
Trevor needs a contract!!!!!!!
@braves complete the rotation with signing this man!
Every team could use him
I wish, but it just isn't going to happen.
I hope he never goes back to the league that screwed him. He should play in a different pro league around the world for 1 season and document it like he did Japan.
lol...Marty was bailing out with his front foot every pitch! Looked like he was scared shitless up there! haha!
At least you're staying active.
I'm dying for the Red Sox to give this man a chance! Instant playoff contenders with this dude on the team
Yeah any younger pitcher wanting to learn more about pitch sequencing needs to watch this video
I wish I had this kind of access when I was in high school
Please come to
St. Louis
Please please come play for Minnesota we need you
Respect to trev.
Free Trevor Bauer now! Sign this man! He does more for the game of baseball than any other human!
He folded like the King of JUCO😅😅
Need to readjust the Hittrax
GOD BLESS
Ok Marty 👏
It was such a great video till 6:13 then you started crying😂😂😂
One of the few times I support Trev
Someone has got to pick him up this season!
For starters, this guy's real name is Marty Cahill and he did play college baseball. So he was not a guy that just came off the street and hit MLB pitching. He brought some level of skill but day in, day out, he would be about a .100 hitter or less in MLB.
and .200 off TB 😬
yeah...he isnt in mlb for a reason, he works for barstool. not sure of the point you were trying to make other than seeming envious of being able to get a couple hits off on trevor bauer
@@BroskiBigDuckYou have to be a moron if you don't understand the point I am making.
he payed at mount saint mary lmao its a glorified community college
His real name isn't Marty either ya schwanz
It would be awesome to do live at bats with trevor
