I had the velo, but couldn’t go deep in games because of my walk rate. Hoping the young pitchers out there watching this learn something

If anything the hitter attempts a bunt on your slider or goes Juan Uribe after feigning 5x summarily blasting one to left center on a heater. As a hitter, I may have done lots of thinking from both sides of the plate because as a catcher it is natural to think and synch up with your pitcher. First two batters, I noticed you did not challenge them inside or up and in. As a hitter, I always wanted a pitcher with a good curve or heat to try to get me off the plate. In the process of learning how to hit superior curve, breakers, sliders, we change our box stride or positioning if we dont mod our swing. Making contact is easy enough, hitting it where it should go is ideally what to do, ala Rod Carew, Boggs, Gwynn. As a catcher, I always tried to get pitchers to keep a good pace, lots of ground balls for my infielders to keep busy. Ks come from overly aggressive hitters and situational demands where hitters try to hard. What do you think Kershaw is doing wrong at this stage of his career?? I think he is washed up, like 2 years ago. His mechanics have gone abnormally weird that everything seems like a tell to hitters. I'm not a fan Dave Roberts much like Joe Torre, a bit lazy in the mind. I wish ya luck, be nice to see you with Dodgers again come September.
