Honestly all the trinkets were all new to me even after a ton of playthroughs. Good stuff. I avoided mostly all videos on rdr back then for spoilers so now I can grab what I missed
@3:50 didn’t know the map tapered off like that there and it’s now that I realize I have so much more to find in this game and i’ve owned it since release week 😂😂

I just go to the house on the coast south of Rhodes and kill the sleeping guys in the basement and collect the 50 bucks on the table - save, reload and rinse and repeat. I collected over 20K doing this until I got tired of it. They're still available anytime I wish to go back.
So you did it 400+ times or you could've just gotten like 19 gold bars in chapter 2.
@@ArthurCallahanSolos I aquired all the gold as well. I just loved killing passed out drunks - over, and over again. I'm still repeating that scenario - cause I get off on it

The watch is the reutlinger watch you get in chapter 4 its worth nowhere near 5k but 155 is still a lot for 1 pocket watch in the game

Dammit, another video another thing I've missed. Had no freaking Ideia there was fertility statuete in New Austin. Got another excuse to restart the game 😁
3:18 I think there might be more than one fertility statue. I currently have one as Arthur in vanilla gameplay. I can't remember where I got it from, though.

At 3 30, it shows the female statue at the shack.
All the time the modelleres and texturers put into these weird items should have gone towards making more clothing options. Like, it's cool they added these details that 2% of the players will ever see, but with how many things are lacking it's kind of enfuriating.
I think adding clothing isn’t even something to replace these with, but if they were going to add, should’ve been DLC and actually putting work into the online world. That’s really where we the consumer would’ve won
More gun customization is and was a must
then they forced content into the post game like the legend outfit that was clearly for arthur lmao. Like why does john get BOTH legend outfits? you just know someone near the end was like “we need post game content!” and then they just shamelessly outed the legend outfit. The LEGEND outfit. THE outfit of outfits. The coolest one, the one that means the most in both games.
So much missing content, and so much forced off into the post game to make it seem like there was a reason new austin wasn’t given to us at first. I feel like even new austin itself was intended to be open, but they needed that post game content they didn’t wanna actually create. I don’t want DLC, i don’t want another john game. I want a “complete edition” with all the shit that was supposed to be there to begin with, we missed out on a huge snow area, a glacier, a whole mountain, a bigger lemoyne, guarma, and MAYBE even mexico

When you start playing with John, do we have the equipment, weapons and money that Arthur had before dying?
yes you do, just not the money sadly . but you can do treasure maps to find gold and easily get your money back
You keep the equipment, but they updated it so you don’t keep the content of Arthur’s satchel, so say bye to your gold, crystals, perfect carcasses, etc, etc.
If you want Arthur’s $$ do the Aberdeen pig farm side mission before Arthur’s last ride or whatever it’s called. Allow them to poison/make Arthur pass out and steal his money, just don’t go back to the house as Arthur. Once you have control of John, revisit the pig farm and Arthur’s $$ should be behind the mother’s picture on the wall. Granted I haven’t I haven’t done this because I’m still roaming around as Arthur but have seen videos and people write about this.
Some gold locations can be looted again by John, say for instance the train wreck gold location.
You can get his money with a glitch, or do a gold ignot glitch

Tip: If you haven’t found the hunting requests yet, check the post office in either valentine and Rhodes to activate them. I found my first one in Rhodes while so many others found it in valentine for some reason

All you have to do is go to the fence and see what items you need to keep.
Only the items used to make the trinkets are needed.
Just go check and keep the bracelets and necklaces you need to have when you find them.

which compass, there’s two of them? one you get from doing the rock carvings for the red headed time traveler and is part of the raven claw trinket. the other is in the boathouse on braithewaite manor grounds
I missed none of them. There is nothing in RDR and RDR 2, that I haven’t seen or done. I know every inch of both games maps like the back of my hand. I’m 75 YO
And have been gaming since Pong. Since 2005, after my first heart attack, I have been gaming for an average of 10 hours per day.
The things I hate about RDR 2, is how R* was/is Sony’s Bitch. (My Opinion) And, the game is too linear, the characters are too shallow, and the online version is pure shit. Skyrim and Fallout 4, both, tower head and shoulders above RDR 2.
I doubt I’ll ever buy another R* game.
