    Nice Video, that's exactly what I intend to do, only the bare essentials and the car remains suitable for everyday use. Thank you for sharing.

    I have just taken delivery of a 2017 1.6 Diesel manual C4 Grand to do exactly the same thing as you. The only addition I have made is a Kampa Tailgater awning, which I will use for the 1st time this weekend, I'll let you know how I get on. A Jackery 500 and Alpicool K25 compressor fridge are on order and cant wait to get out and do our thing. Thank you for sharing.

      That's fantastic. Having just returned from the Lakes I can only say that the conversion has exceeded all my expectations. Look forward to seeing your comments on the fridge etc. 😁

      @@CosmicSeeker69 oops, no update. Well it did not go to plan with my tailgate awning. It was difficult to put up, especially in the wind and very difficult to reverse onto in the dark. The car itself is a great wagon to carry all our stuff and extremely economical on fuel, average of 46 running around but just under 60 on a recent run up to Scotland. My jackery 500 & solar panel works brilliantly and keeps my Alpicool running all week. We have since bought a Berghaus 400 airbeam tent and use the car as transport only. Apologies for not updating as promised, it totally slipped my mind.

      Cheers thanks. I eventually settled on the Vango Comfort Grande 10cm Self Inflating Mat which is slightly bigger than the single. It is self inflating and had good reviews, see link below. I must say, having used it a number of times now, I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again! 😀

      Fortunately, this version of the Picasso comes with a mini wheel stored underneath the vehicle.

    what's the total length between the driver seat and the end of the boot? most MPVs Im seeing are around 170cm which is quite short
    thanks!

    • @dalesactive
      @dalesactive  Před 2 lety +4

      Hi Edu, From the back of the drivers seat to where the boot closes I get about 185 cm which just fits my airbed. Hope that helps.

      @@dalesactive Thanks, not easy to find specific internal dimensions online. How far forward can the front passenger seat go to allow a 240 cm long windsurfing board to fit in ?

    • @dalesactive
      @dalesactive  Před 2 lety +3

      @@zytigon Hi, if you can drop the seat down then it is no problem and 2.4m is easily achieved if it can be safely secured. If you can only move it forward then 1.8m is about the max. Hope this helps.
