I recently started going there. I’ve found only one crow shark tooth and a Porbeagle tooth fragment, along w a couple squid pens
That's awesome! Right after a good rain storm is a great time to go searching there, best of luck in your future hunts!
Goblin sharks aren’t extinct
You're right, the Deepwater Mitsukurina goblin shark species is still around but this tooth is from the Scapanorhynchus texanus goblin shark species which was a Cretaceous era version that is long gone
