i never understood why the game is disliked in the comunity so hard. It was a step aside the common path, but not a bad one. heroes had real nice character developement. Music was awesome as always in homm.
I believe the lack of programming efforts put into the computer AI was what sunk this game. Otherwise, the graphics, music, gameplay was superior in every way compared to earlier versions of Heroes and Heroes V.

It was way too different. It felt like a different game. Any game designer knows this is an issue and avoids this when creating a sequel.
I just wanted to buy this since I liked the game so much but its not even for sale on steam lol
