    Glad to know, I’m not the only one stingy with my Cork. I save every scrap, and find that I eventually use it. Thank you for your video, excellent instructions

    I use a blunt knitting needle, works great! With softer fabrics (cottons) I fold the corner seams in and then using my thumb I turn out and it works like a charm. Learned this in garment making.

    Thanks for sharing the free pattern. I had to get it.
    I use OESD point turner. It has a ball on each end. A large and a small. One of my favorite tools. The new ones have flat centers so it doesn’t roll off of the table. Love your tutorials! 🤗

    I use wooden chop sticks for my corners. I also have a wooden round semi pointed stick that came in some polyfill. I ordered this pattern (free) and now i can't wait to try it!

    Super cute bag love your cork you always choose such pretty patterns. I agree you have to wrestle with Ottertex but i have noticed after using your bag it all softens up and is a lovely interior. I have also used ripstop and wow love that for linings. Thank you for another great video

    If you blow a hairdryer into the bag, the ottertex softens up and goes into the bag nicer

    We’ve gotten spoiled with so many varieties and options for linings being offered by such a high number of shops. Might take a bit, but there’s a little something for everyone now.

    I use the Ebony Wood Leather Ebony Burnisher Tool. It’s a blunt rounded edge that works great to get your corners out without damaging your fabric. I also love ottertex wpc. I use it for all my linings. I love the structure it gives to bags as well as being able to just wipe it out.

    Ottertex turns a bit easier if you heat it a bit. Can use hair dryer or sometimes I toss it in dryer for couple minutes…not on high!😊

    I adore Ottertex 600 for lots of things, but on small projects it is indeed a BEAST. When I got the bag I bought from you recently and felt the 300 denier WPC, I fell in love. I will be ordering some.

    I love the Ottertex. I prefer the stiffness of it so I don’t have to interface, but I also love how durable it is. I use it mainly for the exterior of men’s items such as pouches, wallets and bags.

    Ref your question about turning out corners: I like using a tongue depressor for rounded corners. The curved edges are really helpful.

    😍 love it, another great tutorial! Quick question and maybe you have addressed this before, it appears from what I have watched you do not make cotton wallets/purses. Is it just because they don’t sell as well or just take longer for a tutorial? Or maybe I just not have seen them yet. The patterns that you do show us, do they come with directions for using cotton?

    • @jeanniesdesigns5295
      @jeanniesdesigns5295  Před rokem +1

      You're right I don't often use cotton anymore as it does require interfacing... Here is a recent video though! czcams.com/video/Gy6IundGw0w/video.html
