- We pop to our local dealer and have a look around the Motorhomes (and some Caravans). Could we be tempted into getting a Motorhome or Campervan one day?

We did motorhoming for 8 years and loved every minute of it,but now it's sold and coming over to the caravan side

@@heyholetstow 2 reasons mainly, 1st was are motorhome was not ulez compliant it was a 2010 auto trail,2nd we started to use sites and CL's a lot more,the main reason was the ulez and the cost of buying a ulez compliant motorhome was going to cost a lot more to get to one so we are now going to try caravaning,if your thinking would I ever go back never say never, as I said we loved the freedom, all are kids are grown up so it's just me and the wife plus 2 dogs time will tell
Don't get too keen on those motorhomes lol you'd need to think of a new name. Although gotta say some really nice units. Ooo our tow bar is now sorted so can pick up our van from storage now at last

Interesting to see prices coming down, you're totally right about those bargain D4-4s, absolutely a good value way into caravanning! We're reformed motorhomers, had one for about 10 years, but to costs these days are really high. For now we love our caravan. Thanks guys, take care 👍

@@heyholetstow right now, with Dozer in his senior years definitely caravanning, but we could see a motorhome in our future again... Can we have both? 😂

@@MacSarahWe have got a 5m campervan (with full ‘facilities’) and a D4-4 caravan. Being of a certain age we need the camper for use as a day van. We also have 3 dogs🙄😊

Coming down to Knaresborough C&MC site for the Easter break in our new Coachman laser 545 extra. 1st proper trip out in her since we picked it up a week ago. It was ordered at the October show. My advice would be ……..

We’ve just sold our camper for a new D4-4L 😅 ordered it early December and still waiting (patiently…ish). 😊

We just had a Citroen dispatch camper called Doris. We loved her and could go pretty much anywhere in her at the drop of a hat, but we found once we were pitched up we didn’t want to move her again. Plus we just wanted more space especially when it’s wet… which it typically is in the uk. 😊

Any update on your tow car, is it back fixed and ready to hitch up the caravan to ?
It was checked and they could find nothing wrong with it. So risking it soon….
