- We take the new Bailey Discovery D4-4 for its first trip to Sandholme Lodge. Just for one night so we can make sure all the appliances work and make sure we have everything we need in the caravan for its next trip. We also reveal the new décor for the caravan. Which cushions did we choose? How did we get on with the Blue upholstery? All will be revealed.

Awww we love a good out take 😂 guys the interior design touches are gorgeous!!! We were just saying that we need some plants to take away with us, they add such a homely feel. Great colour scheme. Did you buy a special sheet for the French bed mattress or just a standard one? (also, what a lovely site!)
Thanks. We weren't struck on the blue at first but it really goes well with our signature Orange. Can't beat a bit of orange in the caravan! :)

We went to Chatsworth in February (my birthday) and it was flipping shut! Bakewell is nice...

smart. Love the integrated blinds on the front window and the whole van appears to be compact without being small. Nice. Good luck with your adventures.

I’ve heard some say facing forwards and some say facing backwards.
I told you orange and blue works! Interior looks great!
They do work perfectly together. Like it a lot.
I remember the first time away in our new caravan (2017), it was alot bigger and heavier the the old one, not to mention 18 yrs difference, just plug in flick 3 switches and it was up and running. We loved that new untouched feeling and excitment, shame it's warn off a bit'

great idea to add the worktop board to the hob. My Bailey Phoenix 644 has a worktop lid on the hob but i dont like the charcoal grey colour of my worktops....thinking of covering with some lighter vinyl tiles.
It’s a cutting board from ikea called a Lamplig. Needs some pads underneath to protect the glass hob too

Shein, had them in the old van and they fit! Think there is a video about them somewhere on the channel
You will have the same problem with fridge control as we had with our new Swift, the touch control is easily knocked and changed ( as can be heard on video) fix is a small bit of Perspex with Velcro on the end and either side of the control area, can easily take off and now no more annoying beeps or fridge temp changing. Enjoy your new van just as we are.
We had that with our old caravan too, forever knocking it and beeping. Seen some of those protectors on eBay but not sure the best one to get
@@heyholetstow we made our own, got a little display thing from hobby craft and cut it to size, sanded edges and stuck Velcro on … cost us less then £2 works a treat

I like the board on the top of the oven , where did you get it from it looks a brilliant idea , as we have a d/4/4
Lamplig from IKEA, it’s a cutting board. You have to get some soft pad for underneath so it doesn’t damage the glass hob.
Not sure if I'll make it, I'll see if the site has WiFi
No problem, we aren’t even sure the site we are on has a reception 😀
Are you going for rapper round awning?
They do look awesome but they seem very expensive, plus I’d imagine they are a nightmare to put up around the bend 😀
