I come from Nola, birthplace of Giordano Bruno. In school we delve deep into the thought of Bruno as a demonstration of pride. Unfortunately the Italian mindset of hierarchies does not allow us to follow his path, the one of a person capable of breaking trends.
While joking I told my teacher back then that Bruno today would have been a Hindu, she laughed at me. In reality now I see her point, but I also understand how every belief has to be taken for what it is and that there are unfortunately some men who were not born to stay in the same place for too long.
