- How many Zeon forces did Amuro Ray defeat during the One Year War?
Based on what was directly described in the story, I tried to count the number of times to directly defeat the enemy or induce destruction.
The result of counting all the enemies defeated from episodes 1 to 43 is as follows.
MS: 61
MA: 5
Aircraft: 31
Tank: 15
Missile: 11
Battleship: 10
Lalah Sune: 1
Soldier: 18
Etc: 4
Total: 156

I hadn't realized Amuro used the "got your nose!" trick more than once.
A flying ace is a pilot that has shot down five or more enemy craft, Amuro is definitely an ace mobile suit pilot.
In moon gundam manga someone said that amuro is ace amongst aces
It's not just how many but also the quality of the pilots he defeated as well.
M"quve was barley a challenge.
Zeon didn't take the threat of White Base seriously and kept throwing just enough resources at her to feed her crew experience without actually doing any significant damage. Of course their resources were already stretched thin...but that was also the point of the Trojan Horse and her crew. To draw away as many Zeon forces as possible and clearly, it worked.
Now you're making me expect a Kamille kill counter video on this channel.
Reading, playing games, and watching from regular zeon soldier POV, RX-78 is like a demon.

I think this is only counting mobile suits being shot down, not the kills themselves. The Zeong is counted and Char obviously didn’t die from that

For Zeon soldier, meeting him in space means death
Gato survived fighting amuro in games but this was because amueo wasn't taken him seriously.
You know when you put it together like this he seems like a menace. Is it any wonder why Zeon spent so many resource's trying to kill him. Also I love the original series because you can really understand why mobile suits and the Gundam was a threat. It wasn't just to robots shooting at each other. Amuro and Char could do karate and Judo in the suits making them real threats even when outmatched.
Still, there are at least three other guys who killed more Zeon than Amuro in the OYW according to the lore.

Also, I think his MS kill count is lower than a few Zeon aces like Johnny Ridden and Shin.

Amuro Ray defeated all of the main Zeon enemies, except Crowley Hamon, Ramba Ral's wife, because if it wasn't for Ryu Jose ramming into her, Amuro would've been killed.

Once he got into space Zeon causalities when up by 75 percent lol.
I wouldn't count the missiles as they are unmanned so the correct total would be 146.
Each Musai spacecruiser probably has a crew of 60 ,so Amuro killed probably more 300 Zeon soldier during the One year War, I would say 400
That's a lotta dead Zeon soldiers & their destroyed mobile suits.
No wonder in Crossbone Gundam they went out of their way to find his data, god damn.

Is it just a rumor that he's defeated over 100 Zakus?
Probably not. Zeon threw a ton of suits at the White Base on it's journey to Jaburo and then they participated in every major battle in space afterwards. Towards the end of the war Zeon was just throwing whatever they had left, including Zaku 1s and 2s, but they didn't have any skilled pilots left to use them so by then they weren't even speed bumps. Suffice to say a hundred Zakus is feasible, with a number of other unit types tossed in there.

진짜 당하는 입장에선 공포 그 자체. 게다가 맞춰도 왠만해선 기스 밖에 안 나는 괴물 같은 방어력까지.....
그건 자쿠머신건이나 톱, 마젤라 같은 병기들이 그런거고 중반부터는 지온의 ms들에게 건담의 건다리움 합금도 종이장처럼 찟겨버리죠

i think he was more considering vehicle kills over humans killed, the same way you would consider destroying a tank as a single kill when there are like 3-6 crewmen
@@staticdescent4769yeah you may be right but in about 3:13, Amro is attacking a base and destroy the Watchtower and also Straits of Runway with just normal soldiers and they count oldest kills so the argument can go both ways

The most OP character in gundam history.
That title is held by Kamille with his Ridiculously OP Newtype Powers and a Piloting Skill that Rivals Amuro. Amuro is Mostly on the Piloting Skills with a Pretty Average Newtype Power.
@@SpultoBNMTheMutuallyUnrequited Yea Kamille is flat out better. Not as good of a pilot as Amuro, by a slim margin but a far more powerful newtype.

On the 112 kill where the hell did Amuro Ray get third Beam Saber?
GMs were already a thing, he might have put one back into the backpack to recharge and taken a fresh one from a GM.

이게 보이는거만 이정도지 전함안에 타고있을 병사나 가우같은거도 따지면 진짜 천명넘을지도
적 에이스들을 포함해서 저렇게 많이 격파했음에도 1년전쟁 내내 승급은 딱 한 번뿐이었고... 전후에는 중위로 승급했지만 감시당하는 신세였으며, 최종 계급은 대위로 끝났다.지온이었다면 1년전쟁중에 대령까지 승진했어도 이상하지 않았을 전공 아닌가?
가만 보니 다른 건담들이 적으로 싸울법한 적들은 저 1년에 거의 다 만나 봤네.
전투기에서 거대 병기까지... 전황을 불리하게 만들 적들은 혼자 다 파괴 시켰네.
저 후기에 건담 알렉스를 탔으면 어떻게 됐을까...
155 and 166 cant be counted. One was just a dustruction and he didnt kill char in 166.
It's more of machine kill count expected couple soldiers like you would count tank as one but tank has around 3 crewmates

결정적으로 아무로는 16살 어린나이에 군사훈련은 받아보지 못한채로 건담에 탔다는 이유로 우주에서부터 지구권가지 계속 지온의 에이스급 파일럿과 소속된 특수부대와 싸워 박살낸데다 혼자서 포위된채로 싸워서 올린 전공이라 그어떤 연방파일럿도 비교할수가 없죠 거기다 코어파이터로 자쿠2보다 더 출력이 월등한 구프까지 박살낸 터라 만약 전쟁후반기 아무로가 뉴타입전용기를 탔다면 샤아는 아바오아쿠에서 끝났을겁니다. ㅋ

건담(RX-78-2)만 해도 지온에게 재앙이나 다름없는데, 뉴건담이면 인류 멸망 수준일 듯...
건담은 완성형이고 자쿠는 설계결함이 심했는데 막상 완성형이 나오니 1년전쟁이 끝남.
막상 양산형 건담은 그렇게 위력 좋지않았지.
나무로 활을 만들어서 실컷 죽이다가 갑옷이 나오니 무능해진 격이지.
나중에 더 좋은 무기가 나와도 대응수단이 생기면 쳐맞는거지
Amuro did not take down any of the Zeon. Zeon technically survived for years after Amuro "disappeared" in 0093.
He did take down some of their soldiers.

아무로가 지온의 에이스급들은 모조리 작살내고 슈퍼에이스였던 검은삼연성, 란바랄, 마쿠베등이 아무로에게 다털리면서 기체는 있어도 타고서 전투를 이끌 지휘관급들이 거의 날아간 상황이라 이후 나온 갤구그나 릭돔으로도 짐에게 고전을 면치 못한듯 싶음
