Secondly, its about the bigger picture, its not only Akon but African presidents signing deals left right with China. Its good for economic and industrial boosts in the short to mid term, but Africa will never be sovereign and stronger if all this debt is accrued. That is why he doesn’t support Akon here, Akon gains in the short to mid but as a Pan Africanist like Umar, one needs sustainable and sound progress with no shackles.
