Actually, I also learned to play using Rocksmith, and now I'm playing live open mics.
Rather well, so I've been told.
It's baffling that more aspiring guitarists don't use Rocksmith.
I have a friend who's been playing for over 20 years and he refuses to consider Rocksmith.
He says it's for kids. I told him there's a ton of songs available that he could learn to play. He's not convinced.

I also learnt about this song from Rocksmith 2014. I recommend any beginner to play the bass score (even using a regular quitar as I did) in Rocksmith, it's pretty easy, but not boring as some other easy bass lines in the game (there are some that use 4 notes for the whole song). And the bass melody in Love That's Gove is very nice.

I normally don't listen to this kinda stuff but it came on Rocksmith and after playing it I just dug it. It's a good way to wind down. I just can't fall asleep after playing iron maiden or white zombie.

I still don't understand how you're suppose to strum the G and e strings without hitting the B. muting it still sounds awful to me

Sean Federico I tried that too, it's too fast. ahh I guess it's just practice at this point.
Sean Federico The guitar player in the video doesn't pluck them, he strums them. I'm not saying there's only one way to do it, just making an observation. I strum them and mute the B string (I'm not good at it, but it does work)

I heard this song on Rocksmith 2014. I was pissed coz I was hoping to play some heavy metal badass shit, know what I mean? Well, anyways. I had to play this song like 20 times to finally get it. LOL. Relax there buddy, I was just stating MY opinion, you don't have to like it and take it so personally. And just FYI I've been following and buying Rocksmith ever since the first one, I for one am very grateful for the content that they put out, especially so that all levels of guitarists can appreciate their product.
Also I gotta say... songs like "Bat Country" isn't my type of my music at all. I much prefer and enjoy listening to Blues, Classic/Psychedelic Rock, Country (strictly Johnny Cash & Willie Nelson) Funk, Grunge, Jazz, R&B, Soul and the 'heaviest' would be the pioneers of Heavy Metal (DP, Sabbath, Zeppelin, etc...).
And again, I was just stating my 2 cents on the song, never did I say I was against the song or the game for that matter. So please, don't take comments such as mine so personally next time - thanks.
