Nice and simple build. I would use LEGO springs for tensioning to avoid non LEGO parts. And a small spring to attach/detach the gondolas from the rope at each station should be possible in this scale as well.
Hi, thank you. I like the idea with the springs. I wanted to make a simple ski lift, so maybe in the future I will build chairs with detachable gondolas.
I made something like this when I was a teen and attached it to door frames. IT was able to go up and down stair and around a couple corners before making a return trip. I had a motor at each end to help. I also used a counter weight for tension but had to be careful not to pull the cord off at turns where the cable bends away from the corner instead of around it.
this just popped out o nowhere and let me tell you, i am subscribing right now, i love how much effort u put in those vids and your builds, never give up, keep it up!! ur vids are awesome
i can just hear the chairs going over the guide wheels half way up a quiet mountain. nothing but the sound of skiiers beneath you and the rattle of the wheels over the pylons. bliss.
Hi, I am planning to build a detachable system with a lower speed at the station. But it requires some special pieces, which I plan to get in the future.
when I was younger I used lifts like this in Scotland. And I mean almost exactly like this- single seat, fixed to the cable, no foot rest and no safety bar (a simple lap bar got added to one of them). They did have vestigial arm rests to stop you sliding out sideways, but that was it. Base of seat was tilted back a bit to use gravity to keep you on. So, this is wildly realistic, but of a certain type. Sure, eight seat high speed detachable chairs with conveyor belt loading and all that exist. But so do these simple chairs- these are ancestors.
I have a idea of a ski lift. I used to go skiiing in nevada, and there was a lift that was just a faster version of all other ones. It had this system where the chairs get clamped onto a slower belt, and then once everyone was on, it clamped onto the faster belt, could you try and make this system of ski lift too with lego?
Hi, other lego creators have already built detachable gondolas which can achieve slower speed at the entrance. There are many cool ones on youtube. Unfortunately, that system requires a lot more lego pieces.
This is nice and all, but Ive been on ski lifts and gonalas. Thy arn't on the main line while at the station, there on a slower line which is why you will often see multiple at the station even though they are so far apart when you actually ride it. They hop on and off the main line.
Of course, there are more advanced ski lifts on youtube, but they require a lot more lego pieces. I wanted to make a simple ski lift, which is more accessible to people, who don't have many lego pieces.

You could make them detachable without springs by using a latch held in place with an axle or a beam, then just slide it to open
They had ballast bricks in the old floating boats. You could use that and then it would still be designed like this and the way real ski lifts are.

I envisioned this and attempted (but failed) to build this when I was 12. Part of my life is now complete. Congratulations. It's beautiful.
What a great build! Good work
i like how the rollers move to keep it going and simple.
What a amazing job bro

...Creativity meets ingenuity. Simply brilliant and ingenious. Hats off I applaud. !!👏👏👏👏

So cool, well made and with so little!
One of my favourite.
This is awesome!
I would buy this ski set for a winter set
Definitely deserved my sub!
Nice build!
This is awesome
This is really cool man 👍🏾
you need more subs
i hope you know that THIS is really Cool!!!!! 😎👍
Muito legal! Parabéns pela criatividade!
Ficou muito legal esse teleférico. Parabéns!
I love this. Can I challenge you to build a lift off lift on wire system where the loading deck is slower than the main cable?

Nice built! Where are the happy Lego people 😀

Just need some snow and little Jedi spilling down the hill.
In the 1k like, also great build!
Do you have plans/parts list for this build? My young son is obsessed with chairlifts and this is one of the best I've seen, thanks!
nice
Say whaaaaa!?!😮😮
Nice video।
Can you make a parts list for it?
Can u send a link for The all The parts If yes i Will subscribe! Thank you.
How do you attach the chairs?
Where can I buy this set?
😮
try to figure out a way to have studs on the seats so minifigs can ride without falling off.
Would not want to be a passenger on this ^^
what are the bricks used to build this and the number of each pls tell me

Hi, thank you. Well, I started to take it seriously two weeks ago so now it's just the beginning of the channel ;)

chairs like this exist. This chair is still in service czcams.com/video/IswassPwmKU/video.html&ab_channel=Sweatypaul
How Mach?
can i have the assembly instructions
Hi, my next video will be a tutorial on this ski lift, so you can build it yourself.
@@technicbuilder5041 thank you
Nicely done
Hey, son! Do you see those flimsy chairs that go aaall the way up there? Hereitcomesquicksitandstrapyourselfhavefuuuunnnn...!
Can you build it bigger
Et pour la France allé allééééé !
I've never seen the gear frame/housing piece that I see at 0:24. What is the part number of that? Thanks!!
Hi, it's 4610377 axle used for offroad vehicles.
ElementID is part and color number lol
I built this this weekend! Thanks for the instruction tutorial!
I'm very disapointed that these are not detachable chairlifts given they were first put in service in 1981.
It is quite cool but other people have made advanced detachable lifts.
Of course, there are more advanced ski lifts on youtube, but they require a lot more lego pieces. I wanted to make a simple ski lift, which is more accessible to people, who don't have many lego pieces.
Yes yes yes! We had almost all these parts.
How to make

where are the building instructions ?
