As far as a favorite family member, each one has so much class it's very difficult to decide. The problem with people getting sick with lettuce or veggies is because they don’t wash them at home. They use them straight from plastic bags. You don’t know who handles the food. Even though it’s rinsed at the factory thousands of pounds lettuce are washed. Lettuce should have leaves separated not washed in one unit, in to or three waters then let drain and put in plastic container. All produce should be washed.
