he got his scars from the speed force because he moved so fast that his suit could not control all this heat that he was producing when he was running
people would think he would have his speed force aura to protect him from such thing,but tv show creators forgot that he needs that power so he can run faster than mach 10 without destroying everything around him.

My theory...
Iris and Barry had a happy and successful marriage,
on a normal sunny day something in June, Iris was busy finished her news article, thus refused to do the ironing when Barry pleaded. Barry as stupid as rash as he is, went to do it himself. As any normal person, he accidentally burned his face with the iron causing the scar and therefore his reason to kill Iris is mainly for revenge was born.

Farhan Mulla the fight could’ve been very brutal, we never know so maybe wally did loose his shit on savitar and put the scar of his face. And Future Flash ended up breaking his legs. I can imagine Future Flash being the cocky bitch he and saying “my face..what did you do to my Beautiful face!”

Barry warns himself about him because on the allstar teamup they found a message from barry from the future telling everyone not to trust him so that might off meant that one off the time remnants found out who savitar is and sent a message telling everyone not to trust him?
What if Savitar is the time remnant that Barry created when battling Zoom? That would mean that the remnant was trapped in the speed force and also that would explain why he has the scar. Then when the philosopher's stone was thrown in the speed force, the remnant used it to make a suit and then eventually escaped and wants revenge for what our flash did to him.

I was thinking the Barry that got disintegrated in the battle with zoom is OG Barry and the one that lived is the remnant which would explain why savitar says he's the first flash as in original flash and by taking over his timeline he took everything from OG Barry which is what savitar said.
Only thing I can think of, why this wouldn't be true, is if Savitar was the time remnant from Zoom fight, he wouldn't have the same memories of our Barry and Savitar, since we learnt in this episode, Savitar knows exactly whats going to happen because he lived it. Also the time remnant was from the original timeline, before Flashpoint existed. Everything else makes sense regarding the scar.

Devils Gate savitar isn't the time remnant he's the original Barry of this timeline see the remnant is the one who went back in time knowing he would sacrifice his timeline to help another flash from another timeline this timeline so now being the remnant sacrifice is his main purpose in this new timeline so if he did get trapped in the speed force he shouldn't be mad because it was technically his choice but what I think happened is in the new timeline it was the remnant who ended up having to fight zoom while the original flash of that timeline was forced to sacrifice himself thus getting trapped in what he considers his timeline while his remnant lives his life getting his girl thus making him go mad and angry. Which is why he says he's the first flash in one of his clues not as in the universe but as in the timeline but also the future flash because that's when he escaped

The scar is most likely from Barry from the future making a Savitar suit that made him run faster, but the suit isn't able to protect him from being burned. He eventually makes a suit that can protect him

In the future we’re Savitar survived as the only time remnent he said that the future team flash did not want him so maybe Cisco blasted him in the face causing him to go mad and open the negative force so he wanted to kill all of team flash

The only issue with the speed burning his face, is that that would result in both sides of his face being burned. It is just to make him look more evil, and so that you can tell Barritar and Barry apart when they are in out of suit scenes together!
i think that as the flash remnant was trapped in the speed force as he was released the scar was formed as a reminder of who he is what he is and how different he is.
it was explained in the episode, Savitar uses a suit the neutralize the discharged friction as he runs at his top speed. too much frictions causes heat, and heat can do some permanent damage to your skin, that's it, that's the reason why he has the scar.

Well, earlier in the episode it said that the metal of savitars suit is a metal that reduces the heat so that means that if that is the case, the flash must have traveled so fast he burnt his face. Also what ever happens in time cannot be changed unless you pay the price.
it was implied by the new scientist that the lightning from running would kill or injure him since he is way too fast and too much speed force energy is generated so he has to wear the suit. that can only mean that it was either a result of running too fast or an enemy gave it too him because he was too fast to use his powers safely. even after healing, there would still be scar tissue.
The theory I think that happened was that the remnant was running so fast his body couldn't take it when he was destroying the thing (I forgot the name, please don't don't say what the name is in the reply section is) and his right side of his face got burned off. It is a working theory and if you watch the bit where the remnant was running really fast, just look at the right side of his face.
I believe he is the remnant from which was sacrificed at the end of season 2 during the race between Barry and Zoom. I feel that the remnant that ran around the device that almost split the multiverse in half and died while doing so didn't exactly die but was disintegrated back into the speed force the same way Barry went when Earth 2 Wells recreated the event that Barry his powers. Then over time saw everything that was supposed to happen, become Savitar, and escape thanks to Kid Flash. That's my theory

I was thinking future flash was the flash from when he battled zoom and got sucked into the speed force and was forced to watch his mother's death and when Barry threw the stone into the speed force is when future flash was able to use the stone to his advantage and get faster so he can escape and have his revenge on Barry for sending him there.

This is the real reason how Barry got his scar. In season 2 when Barry created a time remanant to distract Zoom, he saved Joe and zoom tackles the real Barry while the time remenant switched to the base of the magnetar. You see Caitlyn and Wells talking about what the time remenant is doing and Wells said he’ll die. You see time remenant Barry running and u see him burning while he’s running then he died. Then in season 3 savitar has that nasty scar in the right side of his face. He said these exact words “You created a time remenant” “I saved everybody”. Savitar is basically saying that Barry created a time remenant back then in the fight with zoom. Barry created only one time remenant which we’ve seen. When you see the time remenant Barry running so fast that he’s being burnt, you see that his right side of his face is facing the magnetar and it’s burning.Like Savitar said “I saved Joe and everybody” which means he saved them all from dying by Zoom. So Savitar got that scar from running too fast around the magnetar therefore he got that scar. This guy had some correct theories but Barry never got a scar from Killer Frost. So during The battle with Zoom, barry( time remenant ) got his scar from running way to fast.

I think Barry creates remnants while fighting Savitar so Savitar grabs them one by one running with them like he did with Barry faster than they and their suits can handle burning them up until he finds the one that becomes him. He would feel his own scars growing as he went. so he would know which remnant not to kill

Savitar is the time remnant that died stopping zoom and went to the speed force forcing him to rewatch his mom die when Barry threw the philosher stone into the speed force savitar could escape and he wanted revenge so he most likely got the scar from stopping zoom's death ray thing.

Barry created a time remnant to stop zoom and that remnant was burned up trying to save the multiverse, and future flash created many time remnants and one of those remnants can be the burned up one. Savitar might have spared the burned remnant so that it can later become savitar. I think this is how savitar got his scar.

Remember the time remnant that helped original Barry fight zoom maybe he was just seriously injured and did not die cause he went at the same pulse as the lighting and increased speed cause the speed force and that's why he has white blue lightning thing cause the time Barry had white lightning right before his "death"

Judging from the shape of the scar and not just a scar but a "third degree burn", he can get that sign only in VEGA ZONE(where all those "skinless bots" making them look-like TIKI made bots, typical of Terminator judgement day). He had switched placed with the resident requirement of at least 1 "with skin" on the zone. And maybe, just maybe, one of the "speedster skinless" pushed him on the river of batch!

the way he got his scar if you payed attention to when they were talking about why barry needed the suit because he runs so fast that he needs the suit to neutralize the charge that he builds up around him. so without the suit he would burn himself alive.

I strongly think he the future flash from 2020 who appeared in the season 1 finale when he tells his younger self not to save his mother. When he created flashpoint towards the end of season 2 he altered the timeline by creating Flashpoint. But at the same time when Eobard used his speed force to reset the timeline I feel his speed force kind of fixed it but at the same time something got altered in the future which lead to future flash to lose Iris and now he wants present Barry to suffer the same fate as he did.

Just to let you know, you don't have a link in the description for one of the people you mentioned.
Assuming his is the future flash the came back to stop Reverse Flash from killing his mother, it could been injuries from that. Think in episode one when Joe plays detective he says he found blood from fight, so sounded like future flash got wounded during the fight with reverse flash. Then maybe something happened during the fight that made him get trapped in the speed force somehow, which could be reason his missing in future news paper article. If that is the case his the flash from Reverse Flash time line.

i think the most logical is that when future flash was fighting with savitar and created time remnants savitar did this scar to himself by an accident or for some other reason
It's because Barry created a time remnant to defeat Zoom and that time remnant died and got burned completely to ashes. He was then put in the speed force and saw his mother's murder over and over until he got out when Barry threw the philosophers stone into the speed force, then causing Savitar (the time remnant) to be released. He then wanted revenge on Barry for him being the cause of his suffering.

My theory is that if savitar is Barry's time remnant when he raced zoom the time remnant dies because he is too fast so his face gets burned off or part of it
