Religion is a major symptom of disorder and sound logic. All religious beliefs require the believer to think a certain way, drugs are not to be taken BUT god if the creator of everything would have to take some blame for all the drug use on earth today! Weed is grown, opium is grown other drugs could be questioned but point still remains “ why are they here”?? “Who put them here”?? Also religion causes one of biggest divisions among humans, it’s not logical to follow anyone without hard evidence it exists

But what i think is important is that just because following the teachings of a religion has good effects and a positive impact on peoples live it does not mean that its the truth. Not drinking and became an alcoholic not doing drugs and becoming a drug addict not gambling and loosing all your savings or money or property not having sexual relationships outside marriage saving you from children outside marriage etc etc.. these only benefit you whether there is a religion or creator or not. In this video you talked about a university study of consequences and rape. Could you provide a reference for the study. Sounded quite scary to me that consequences are so important to prevent people doing harm.
I think the another way to approach this by establishing 1) when the consequences are determined because it seems for him it’s when you’re alive and 2) who is the risk for because he seems to think that people should follow desires of the society.
So taking his example of telling others not to suck their thumb. He thinks this is risky b/c you can be doing something better. Now the problem is that
1) you won’t know the outcome of this preaching until you die so you can’t prove this is not something good. Only after you die can you either be happy with your choices or regret them.
2) you are happy doing this & society doesn’t have a say in what will make you happy or what is good for you.
It is disheartening to witness the departure of our beloved brother Hamza from the EFDAWAH team. Whatever the reasons were for Hamza to leave EFDAWAH, it should be sorted out. Since Allah loves unity, we should rectify ourselves and be united. Giving up things for the sake of Allah to bring unity, we must strive towards it. The strength as it used to be, is broken and as a result, it will continuously be weaker without unity. May Allah keep us united. Ameen. We sincerely hope to see brother Hamza back on EFDAWAH. Hope everyone requests brother Hamza to re-join EFDAWAH and send another request to EFDAWAH inviting brother Hamza to re-join.
