greys anatomy
Rest in peace, Cory Monteith and Naya Rivera. You both left us far too early, and you'll be forever missed. The Quarterback episode is doubly poignant now.
Mark Salling too. The circumstances were different, but no less tragic.
Mark is rotting in hell.
@@jdmullen78 Mark deserves nothing… he was a monster he doesn’t deserve to be remembered at all …if you wanna keep someones memory from glee ALIVE as a fan-known person remeber Naya or Cory , crew or Robin Trocki, the actress who played Sue sister… not a person who was a not a great person and had a very PUBLIC record and took the cowards way out(I corrected wording because I was fired up last night plus I just dont get peps who say we should remember also a person who was not great ...)
@@bigchees3850 exactly I will never understand why people are making others feel emotion about awful person passing away…
@@hipsterracoon2159 your opinion on who is awful is just as arbitrary as me believing you are awful based upon the above posts. He did wrong. No argument there. We’ve all done wrong. He could have turned it around and now he can’t. Life cut short is unfortunate, that’s all I’m saying. I would even say so for you, despite your obvious shortcomings.
If i die young hits different 💔
it does.
I still can't listen to it.
Mr.feeney is probably the greatest tv teacher ever. He wasn’t an overbearing authority figure always trying to kill the fun. He really cared about his kids and wanted the best for them.
Naya's crying at the end wasn't scripted. It was all her thinking about her friend. It is haunting for so many reasons.
Yeah, actually none of them were. I think acting that was actors getting together and singing a final song in honour of fallen friend.
The roles were just on paper, but on the show you see the actors not the characters
Even knowing it's going to happen, hearing about Colonel Blake's copter being shot down in M.A.S.H. is always heartbreaking.
Naya’s passing hit me the hardest. We were about the same age and I’m also a single mom, with a kid about her son’s age. I take my daughter out for outings just the two of us all the time, and I can imagine that being us out on the lake. I just think to myself, she must have thought this was going to be a great day. Then go imagine her son just sitting on the boat until someone noticed is devastating. RIP Naya, and even if you think you’re a good swimmer, always wear a life jacket.
Given that my mom is still alive, but Joyce’s death is still imprinted in my mind because that is my biggest fear coming home seeing my mom like that. Buffy has encountered hardship but the death of her mom broke her the most
Mine too… and I know I’ll be the one to find out first when it happens … scary
The fact that Glee lost three of it’s
cast members to tragedy is very gut wrenching! RIP Cory-Finn Mark-Puck Naya-Santana!
two were a tragedy, one a freak accident and then there was Mark. Good riddance to him.
The “P” in Mark Salling’s “RIP” stands for “piss”.
Naya's death still hurts to this day.
To me seeing Will and Uncle Phil, always breaks my heart😭
Brendan Frasier came back to us and he did it big, winning an Oscar.
I’m so happy for him. He seems like just… this purely *nice* human.
The Naya Rivera thing breaks my heart.
I just now realized that Naya Rivera's name literally translates to "flowing river."
I am undone.
Edith Bunker's passing gets me the most. Archie crying into her slipper, kills me. Finn's passing is a close 2nd to me.
That Scrubs episode still makes me cry every time I watch it, and the Boy Meets World scene has a whole new meaning now, which makes even more heart-wrenching. #DoGood
Emily's demand to go first is certainly haunting looking back. But, the most beautiful thing can be seen by the acting and the way Kelly Bishop portrays the scene. She's demanding to go first because from the moment she said "I do" she dedicated her life to Richard and her family (even if Lorelai hated it growing up). She loved him and was so devoted to him that life without her husband seemed impossible. I didn't love the reboot, but the one thing that was absolutely perfect about it was the story of Emily finding her life after Richard. It felt like something she needed after dedicating decades to her husband and family.
Indeed.
Every moment from The Quarterback episode of Glee is hard to watch!
Yep, and I only remember three cast members who passed away as a person who enjoyed the show… Cory,Naya and the actress who played Sue sister
@@hipsterracoon2159 Don’t forget Mark!
Youth Crime in Australia is a sad time when parents are worrying about their teen kids.
@@Swiftie_Life_1989nope… I don’t feel bad for Mark… nor give a popp about him especially bc of what he did
The episode of MASH, where B.J. Hunnicut was drinking and ended up hurting Hawkeye, made me cry, The second is Growing Pains where Sandy passed away in a car crash, made me cry. These are the two that get emotional with age.
I didnt watch GLEE before or after Cory Monteith's death, but when I watched that episode, his tribute, I couldn't help cry like a baby. It is always sad to see a young person die, but also it was the actors/tresses raw and intense feelings are coping with his passing while grappling with his/Finn's passing.
Rachel/Lea's performance always hits home "To Make you Feel My Love." But it is also Santana/Naya's emotions that take to another level. Her own passing in 2020 adds to the layers of emotions that she/Santana expressed in that scene. Man, I cried the way she did when she tragically passed. Agh!!! So heartbreaking
The first episode of the new Frasier surprisingly hit hard. Freddy, frasier’s son dropped out of Harvard and became a firefighter. It is assumed frasier is upset because Freddy dropped out. Frasier was afraid as Freddy’s occupation is very reminiscent of his father, the police officer and it scared him.
I only saw episodes of Buffy sporadically but that episode is still emotional because I lost my father _and_ my stepfather within a three-month period in 2020.
Dawson's Creek when Joey visits her dad in prision.. she started crying and I LOST it 😭
It really does and Angel playing in the back round gives it more heart I was balling my eyes out😢
God, Ben’s funeral in Scrubs is one of the most heartbreaking sitcom episodes.
I remember just losing it when it clicked that Ben was gone. Scrubs is an underrated show. (….not the last season, but.. y’know.)
Mr. Hooper's death STILL gets me. 💔
All of these were hard but some felt like they were happening to you
It’s so eerily prophetic that Naya performed that song with those the foreshadowing
I just learned that the name Naya means "flowing."
Naya Rivera
Flowing River.
Oh. My. God .
I still get teary eyed when I hear “when I die young”
All of these certainly hits you in the heart
The fresh prince and Naya performce will always hit me Naya Baby 🖤✨🕊️🖤 Cory rest easy 🖤✨
I love these animated and live-action tv series sad moments!😢
I miss Naya the most 😢🙏🏼
She passed away as a hero by saving her boy, which is kind of bittersweet… it’s not fair that she is no longer here on this earth, but at least she saved her boy so he could grow into adult🥺
Love the background music changing
The Mr. Feeny moment hit a little different after my first year of teaching. It was a difficult year but I loved that class so much (still do!) 😢
6:24 creepy, but also all the more sad..
Tv moments that only get more emotional with age
Piper’s Angry Grieving after Prue’s death- Charmed
Reba Hart coping over her daughter Kyra moving in with her dad- Reba Sitcom
Shawn Hunter’s falling out with his father try’s to make amends before Chet passes away- Boy meets World
Charlotte emotionally destroys Cleo- H20 Just Add water
Stephanie’s class mate Charles abuse Full House
Rory moved in with her grandparents Lorelei & Rory falling out- Gilmore Girls
Joyce dying was heartbreaking. Tara's death was just as sad.
may naya rivera forever be an angel in her son's life.
Nothing haunts me more than Naya’s scream at the end of her song in the Quarterback. It still hurts to this day.
Also a little trivia… that wasn’t scripted. She was supposed to have an emotional moment after finishing song but she just broke down as performing and that’s why the feeling is raw af
There’s an episode of Star Trek TNG called The Inner Light. Captain Picard encounters a probe that causes him to live another life on a long-dead planet. It’s absolutely real to him, and at the end, when he sees the launch of the probe they encountered, he gasps “it’s me! I’m the one it finds!” Every single time I tear up, especially at the end of the episode where he plays his flute and mourns the loss of a second life with very different choices.
Rip Naya and Cory Glee was always my favorite show on Fox
As well as Robin, the one who played his sister, I forgot her last name but I remember her first name was Robin… she unfortunately also indeed pass away from Alzheimer’s
I didn’t know any of these. Not surprised.
I have teachers I had in the past who I love very, very much, so that does hit me.
It's definitely when Joyce Summer dies. Happy sunday afternoon, Phoebe. Take care and God bless you. Greetings from Colombia to you as well.
Last episode of the Cosby show
I just started watching and if Ben dying in Scrubs is your #10 I'm not sure I'm strong enough to see what #1 is!! 🥺😢😭😭😭
Great list. Only adjustment, would move the 'The Body" episode from Buffy to #2. It was the first time I remember in my 54 years where I saw young adults deal with death in an authentic way.
Joyce’s death hit me hard. It was so unexpected and realistic 😢
Buffy and glee omg 💔
One of mine is from Marley and me when they have to put him down as I had to go through it with my best friend and it still haunts me
Same. And it's more f'ed up on my end is that the doctor couldn't even let him pass out first before the next shot. Cause the doctor was in a hurry, my bear (he was a big chocolate lab but he looked like a Grizzly bear) died scared.
I would say probably the death of fred from angel. And mainly anyone who has lost a parent you really don't understand the character went through until you lose a parent of your own . I lost my dad back in 2020 and I now know what Buffy must have felt when she and dawn lost their mom.
It’s always gonna be no 1 for me.
And I would like a Glee Sequel series. Tributing to the Most Recent Actor/Actress to die. Naya Rivera. Plot: It’s a new generation of the club. With new friends. And they all have something they share with their parents. And some of them, one of their parents died. Tributing to actors in The TV show who died.
Oth should have made the list. Between Keith's death and Q's death/funeral episode. There is no shortage of emotional episodes.
The death of Dean Winchester and the death of Glenn in TWD. I UGLY CRIED
😢😢😢
....damn damn damn 😭😭😭
Matthew Cuthbert's death in Anne of Green Gables.
Snuffleupagus' appearance before the adults on Sesame Street, proving that Big Bird was telling the truth.
Why is glee so cursed
And Naya Rivera sacrificed her life to save her son, how is that part of a curse
In other words, Harsher in Hindsight.
I wish Jonathan Kent's death from Smallville was on the list.
Roseanne, the episode where Roseanne and several friends walk out on their job.
GG A Year in the Life wasn't that good, but Emily's whole storyline is essentially the pay off of demanding to go first. I never liked Emily, but I liked not liking her. She was a good character, just not a likable person. But by the end of a Year in the Life, when the connection to "I demand to go first" was apparent and her arc was completed, I loved Emily.
Still wanna know who wrote that letter tho...
Not Dr. Cox’s best friend that died…but his brother. Even sadder.
Laverne's death was sad too
Lea and Shaun kissed each other after an earthquake!
"The Good Doctor" (2017-2024)
They needed to have Degrassi in there either Cams death or adams .
JT's Death...
Sweets death on Bones.I almost quit watching because of it.Then in the final season Max ,Brennans dad dying.
Mrs
Wolowitz on TBBT
When Stein dies in legends of tomorrow because when I was younger I only got sad cause it was one of my favorite characters but now I think about his family losing the father, dad and grandfather when he for like a month or two just got his grandson. And I also think about Jax losing the closest thing he got to a father and son relationship
Matthew's Death-Downton Abbey
Matthew's Death-Anna Green Gables
Dana's Death-The L Word
Don’t get me started on Matthew’s death… that was emotional damage
Papoui's death on Full House. I skip that episode.
📺📺📺🧙🏻♂
msmojo you are evil for that thumbnail i'm sad
Is there an onion farm around here? 😢 😭
💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔
Glee death was very sad to me
The Glee ones are eerily prescient. But Glee always leaned into the plausibly tragic, so it's just a matter of random chance, after all.
Every Glee character was written as an asshole.
I'm honestly not sure that Leah was just portraying an obnoxiously sadiddy tv character I'm pretty sure that she's exactly just like her in real life
The only normal ones for real were Finn’s mom and Kurt’s dad… they were the wise adults 🧐
First
It still will always hit me the episode of The Wonder Years where Kevin’s math teacher Mr. Collins passes away. I watched it in real time and bawled my eyes out.
