- Never worked on these engines before, attempted a theory and it worked.
follow all steps as I'm not sure which step was the solution but it started as filmed.

Dude THANK YOU. Nobody knows this trick, I can tell you thought the solution through. Worked immediately. I had been trying for weeks. It started right up, sounded like shit lol but just for a minute. Good work man

The solenoids actuate using oil pressure, a design flaw allows oil to drain out when sitting for extended period of time. It requires lots of pressure to pump through the solenoids to bleed the air out, that pressure can't be supplied during cranking. So solenoids wont work unless you fillem with oil. Hope that helps

I have tried that still not starting.my car was sitting for one year.i fried one starter.
I just replaced head gasket and no oil pressure code. I've tried changing oil and unplugging oil pressure switch.??????? help
