try looking under the plastic dust cap on the positive side of the cable. there is a flat 200 amp fuse that can eventually burn out, sometimes is causes intermittent problems if it hasn't burned all the way through, it's on circuit with all heated seats, steering wheel and all other things that are heated.
Check the Ground Wire that connects between the Starter and the Engine. Bimetallic Corrosion often causes this problem. Brush it off and clean the contact surfaces. Put on a light film of Dielectric Grease and it should start.
i have a 2016 dodge dart sxt 2.4L and i absolutely HATE this car. after a few months of having it i was having issues. it would stall out and i didn't know why. i called the dealership and they told me that it was a safety feature for when you need a oil change, says the car will turn off so that the engine doesn't lock. But just a few months back i got a letter in the mail about a recall sayin that the car is consuming more oil than what it should and thats why its stalling. but at first it was a safety feature. i took it in the dealership to have the recall fixed and they called and said it was actually two. the other was the bushing cables, i believe thats what it is, correct me if im wrong. but now im having issues where my car doesn't want to start, somestimes it takes me several times to start it and i have to hit the gas a little to give it that extra push iguess. i was told to replace the alternator and i did that yesterday. but it still doing the same thing. i believe its probably my starter but my car also had a cylinder 3 misfire so i need a new spark plug for that lol im gonna need a new starter. my gauges go crazy when im tryna start my car , it sounds like it wants to start but than it just clicks and the gauges go crazy. i just hate this car, its nothing but problems. electrical issues and all types of shit . just throw the whole car away . smh
I'm about to change my starter since I'm having the same issue now . The car takes me to push the gas to start sometimes so after the start it will be the fuel pump then . I hope it's the starter. Car only has 100k after 6years
I had the same vehicle and similar issue, and I recently just change my battery and spark plugs, it just randomly doesn't start. I may tow it to the dealer tomorrow.
My dart leaks oil so the engine overheats. Since the engine is so close to the battery / electronics it cause it to make it look like it's electrical problems. Usually opening the lid and letting air cool it down will let it start within 30 minutes. Hints that this is happening is that it will struggle up hill or on fast/ aggressive turns.
Are the recalls causing these issues? My car wont start and they said its not the fuel pump or the spark plugs nor the starter or the alternator!!!! This car SUCKS , I only had it for 5 months!!! Last dodge I will ever buy!!!!

My key got stuck in my ignition so I disconnected the negative terminal got it out hooked the negative terminal back up, it sat overnight went to crank it n jus clicked. I already put a new battery in it n it still jus clicked. Any body have any ideas on what it could be?

Dodge Dart 2013 everything you said. The mechanic work on my car said it wasn't my starter from the computer he had that it is my battery. Replace the battery the same day. And it ran for half a day. Just like you said another one said the relay but everything you said happened to me. I'm going to look some more than buy a new starter.

Yes, mine leaks oil and overheats. That's why it shuts off while it's running for me. I avoid issues by topping off on oil once every two weeks and always replace the drain plug as well as tighten oil filter pretty tight.

It could be your negative cables terminal, mine is lose and what I believe causes mine not to turn over

low oil? anyone else burning oil? I've solved this by checking the oil and adding a quart if low. also get it changed regularly.
