I like the direction you are going and good pointers for the look you want. Left us at a cliff hanger! Lol Letttttttssssss gooooooo!
Can wait to see it painted! Great work as always!
Thanks 👍
I like what you did to the slam box... I like the direction of this one so far. Fix major rust, make it look clean and shiny... imagine spending a year doing body work and sanding to come out from the hardware store and see someone let a loose cart slam into truck??? Or someone bump and run... new paint isn't worth the headache
I always look forward to the paint, I like how you explain the process in detail for whichever way someone wants to go on their own project. You're a true professional!
Patina will fit this build for sure!
Would be cool to see it in all new paint but it is a gang of work.
So stoked on this
I cannot wait until the patina looks goes full circle and tries to recreate peeling Bondo with flaking primer with ceramic coated clear coat over the top and super polished. I cannot wait
I was being sarcastic, please keep making more amazing videos. What you accomplish in your shop is so amazing! Thank you
Nice preparation Adam. Thanks for sharing and have a good one. Dutch regards Nico.
That's gonna be cool. I might just be talking out of my ass here; but I think you should paint the interior a nice 'peanut butter' brown, make it look nice & shiny!
Agreed. It's always odd to me when they get the body completely perfect and prepared for a new paint job and then patina it. It's gonna be a sweet rig when you're done and faux patina is kinda becoming your thing. Another great painting video bode!
I like that you are sharing why the decisions you make serve a purpose and why this differs from other builds. Loved Ospho when I was in autobody in HS.
Looking good Adam, I loved the patina paint job on the slam box so I'm expecting this one to be just as good if not better as I'm sure you are expecting the same with your work ethic and skills, lets do it!!💪👏👍John UK
Thanks for watching!
Yess sir let’s go..❤❤❤amazing work I’m learning to just in case I want to build a car later on
Good afternoon from New Jersey great video information on point
Lookin chill and fresh.Lookin forward to da paint job vid.
Can’t wait to see the finished product. Masking is definitely important, right products are important. We use aluminum foil for masking larger pieces like mirrors. Keep up the good work
That seems like it would be more expensive doesn’t it? Or are you not painting that often and this is just a good alternative? Cool idea either way
We do it daily at my job. Probably not much difference in cost, definitely easier to unmask after painting. Just a suggestion, looking forward to seeing more of your work.
Love the content 👌 ur work is 10x better then my uncle and I combined 😂 wish i had ur skills you make it look easy
Just put an ice cut of green on there a nice cut of green
Keep up the good work….
Being a work truck I believe it’s real smart to not go crazy on the body and paint. It should be a great looking rig and be a great work truck . I hope you do put A/C in it.
Thank you for the vids man! Keep it up!! Fake patina can look good the slambox came out SUPER dope. My uncle thinks that fake patina sucks and I should just paint my truck one color. He also thinks I should play acoustic guitar instead of electric. So we know who we’re NOT going to for advice.
Rustoleum Enamel Hunter Green and plenty of green scotchpads. The pads will get the Rustoleum a nice satin look and thin it on the edges back down to the original paint.Instant patina look.
Problem with paint patina..you can tell straight away. It doesnt have that depth that shows and the gloss is not what it should be.
In saying that, this is a shop truck and for all the reasons Bode mentioned, this is perfect.
Big ups man, look forward to see it working 👍🍺
U must be good at baseball always hitting home runs 🎉🎉❤😊😊
I think faux-tina paint jobs can look pretty good, for me personally its the gloss clear coat that kills it. A nice faux-tina with a satin or flat clear would look better but its not my truck so you do whatever makes you happy Bub
I wanna see another CZcams collaboration paint job. Taylor Ray's shop truck??
The slambox has a top-tier patina job.
Let's go my boy bode💪💪💪 1st
Dang I dont wanna sound like a-hole, but you legit said dont use too much tape and then went and covered the mirrors entirely in tape. 😅 My old man would scream at me if I was doing stuff like that haha. My old man has this light construction paper, I would wrap those kinds of mirrors in the paper and then use tape to hold it at the two points that get close to the body. but I'm not a painter or body man so you do you. Love the videos and you do great work and your videos show it.
Whatever you wanna do, you should do it
An old school roll on laquer paint job with your logo stenciled on the doors could’ve worked too. Would’ve been like the farmer just wanted to make it look a little better didn’t care how the body looked.
I want him to paint my TL 😊
No outro I thought something went wrong in the video just stopped lol
Any recommendations on what brands and where to order decent primer, paint, clear?
I got a short bed c10 I need it done would love for you to do I’m in Florida if your looking for some extra money and content
What tape do use to tape off?
The name of the green paint is the Dutch word for green....
Cool deal. I don’t speak Dutch so that’s good to know.
How to apply primer
👊👊👊👊👊
What do you think about the vinager with water, works same like offo or not?
The “correct” product costs money and so does vinegar. So I wouldn’t mess around with the wrong stuff
I put ospho in a spray bottle just wear a respirator.
At this point I would much rather see this super fresh and clean… make that old girl look brand new. This over and over patina thing isn’t looking that good to me anymore.
If I made it brand new there would be months without major visual progress. I just cannot spend that time while making videos
Fake patina has never looked good. Need a change of pace for sure
What the hell are y'all talking about??? I'm not being a dick, but if you see patina don't click. He'll have another project soon maybe it'll be different.
The truck isn't perfect if it was restored or at least completely gone thru it would look good but since the truck has flaws putting a fresh new paint job on it would just be putting lipstick on a pig
Ok everyone take a chill pill… I like patina BUT like I said the over and over of it now is what I done get. I think for this truck I would have loved to see it get completely gone thru this time. I even mentioned it with the slam box but trusted the vision and it was great but now change up would be better for me…
Sprinkle me playa

Okay but please leave the grill and front bumper alone. I love the way they look, the rust on the white just looks so farm truck like
Yes! That’s the plan. Those piece are already perfect
"My uncle would have left it"
its your truck who cares what the internet says.... we all have opinions, its a sweet truck.... if my internet voice meant anything then cool but it doesnt soooo *shrug*.... seriously though if i had my say id say when its all done replace that window and window seal and call it a day it looks sick as is
Thanks for watching man! I feel that!
Should’ve left the patina and cleared the new panels that way more junkyard patina because you see the patch panels this is fake news
Why would anyone waste time and money to have a shitty finish (patina) 😂
