Anna, I have listened to your cover songs and originals, and for the life of me I cannot understand why you aren't a giant commercial talent. Trust me, I mean no disrespect here, but your
original works and performances are far better than anything currently offered by any of the "big-name" talent. I hope you get all you want and deserve out of life.

Anna this is Jim again and that was a great song !!!!! Sad but very true don't have to have a broken heart when the bottle runs out can always grab a new one close by. Some people have dark ghosts they drag behind. What a great song and love the way you did that one.

Your original deserves such a great response. Nothing says it better than a few chords and the truth. Here's my testimony. When I was a baby, I used to cry a lot. My mama tried a thousand things, but only one would make me stop. She would wrap me in her arms and slowly begin to rock. OH, I don't know what was in that bottle, but it really hit the spot ! And I've been hooked on the bottle, since the day that I was born. I had my very first drink, in my dear Mother's arms. And if drinking is what's killing me, then I'll soon buy the farm. 'Cause I've been hooked on the bottle, since the day that I was born ! A lot of John Prines' humor rubbed off onto me.

@@annawescoat2588 Congratulations on releasing your original as a single ! I didn't know that they still appreciate real country on music row and at ASCAP and BMI ! lol. It's nice exchanging words with someone that loves country music. Actually, " Hooked On The Bottle " is one of a few drinking songs that I have written. Do you like no longer drinking songs ? I got a good one. If you would like to read the lyrics, I still remember them ! I sure like your vocals and the way you handle that guit-fiddle.

@@annawescoat2588 You never know what will sell at any given time. Years ago, I thought most country music was pretty bad and then a young singer-songwriter put out a song called, Here in the Real World! Others would follow and soon there was some pretty good stuff out there! Keep writing the good songs Anna.

@@dcallan1 that's awesome! I've never been to Chicago but maybe one day! I grew up listening to 60s/70s music, so I tend to cover a lot of that plus classic country of course if you can't tell by writing style lol
