I should hate you by Anna E. Wescoat

Went back to my folk roots for this one! This song was inspired by one of my favorite writers, Sean of the South, and his amazing story of perseverance through pain and tragedy. He overcame so many obstacles and fulfilled his dreams, and this song is dedicated to him. Even though sometimes we have every "right" to hate someone, in reality, it doesn't do us any good; it just holds us back, and keeps us from fulfilling our own potential. Sean knew that, and he forgave someone who didn't deserve it, so that he could move on to do great things. Yes, I played all the instruments you hear :) yes I have been working on several saxophone riffs, getting ready to put out a different type of song than what you've heard so far ;) songwriting comes easier to me because it is just how my mind works, it's a gift I don't take for granted! ❤️
