I like how they added Eltnum and Akatsuki. It's like they were the actual characters of this game
I thought they were, but after Cross Tag Battle announced them as a “New Fate”, I wondered myself why they are here. I guess they are the “Guest” characters.
Luis Diaz Yep, and Eltnum barely made it in because Type-Moon wanted Tsukihime/Melty Blood back but French Bread was already so far in making Eltnam that Type Moon let them get away with renaming her Eltnum and having a different VA. Luckily they said that Eltnum’s still gonna be around for UNICLR.

I love everything on this Opening, from Seamless transition of Sprites to artwork, to syncing their movement with the song.
Especially from 0:57 onward, I can't never stop getting goosebumps from that part. It's so good made Me never skip the Opening at all

Man I love this opening, one of the best openings in fighting games, especially the song. More than just a 2D fighting game opening with sprites. Worth watching more than once 10/10.

I literally thought this was an anime until I watched the second Half of it. I didn’t know about under night in birth until I played bbtag, then I watched this and thought the sprites were literal anime artwork. So I thought it was like rwby in bbtag, it has never been in a fighting game and bbtag basically put them in anyways. Then I saw the part where the fighting begins then I realized it was a fighting game.

Merkava=Arakune(both were humans that got turned into monsters due to an accident with a respective power from both worlds, under night with EXS and Blazblue with seithr(Arakune was previously named Roy and was a scientist who got stuck in the Boundary and was owerflown with seithr turning him into Arakune)and they both require said element to survive since Arakune wants ragna's Azure Grimoire and Merkava needs to eat other in birthts to consume their EXS)
