Hey y’all ...
Lol don’t be shy let me know what my best performance was.😅
Never enough for sure.. you did that 👏🏾😂
A Million Dreams for suuuure, so much ✨ passion ✨
Thank you
Honestly girl you ate all of them up, but never enough. Wow.
This is me was so good and that’s not up for discussion
Hey Lakia, the reason I felt for the woman who gave him the apple was to show that even though they are the most outcasted and mistreated they had bigger hearts than the ‘regular’ people.
That’s actually a really good point
Ok but big ed tho
@@zakeashalife7548 How does he relate to this?
She was the turning point in Barnum's life. She's the reason he sought out the outcasted to be in his show.
@@zakeashalife7548 lmao
The woman who gave him the apple was meant to be his inspiration for finding peculiar looking people to join his show. He saw the apple and remembered when he was starving in the street and this woman gave him an apple.
That and she showed him kindness when no one else would.
One of the best musicals ever made and no one could change my mind
Period 💎
I agree!! One of my favourites :)
Chicago has entered the chat.
:::hamilton::;
@PETER FINCH and the questionable acting and story choices
My favorite thing about the movie was the music. I was kind of bummed that nothing was filmed or used from the area where he actually came from. I work right down the street from the original Barnum Museum and it has needed repairs for many years. Any publicity or spotlight would've helped it tremendously.
Really that’s interesting
Well a romanticized musical is different kind of enjoyment than actually going and looking at his legacy.. because his legacy is horrifying. But I love the movie
If nobody likes The Greatest Showman, then I'm coming for their soul.
Same! I'm always ready to stomp on the necks of people who b*tch about it.
@@RedRoseSeptember22 come at me😩
Me and my mom LOVE this movie
They actually be using the opening song at real circus's, I find that awesome
That's cool :o I haven't been to the circus since I was a small child. I'd love to go again!!!
" Lady's and gentlemen this this the moment you been waiting for"🥰
The performers actually got paid handsomely. They made an average of 200k over the course of their careers, each, which would've been the equivalent of being a multi-millionaire (almost 6 million), today. And the one called "Tom Thumb" was actually a legitimate multi-millionaire, THEN... but he squandered almost all of his money by the time he died.
they got paid loads but treated horrifically from what ive read P T Barnum was a rlly bad person
@@mammamia9198 Yeah, I won't deny that. He was a scammer...100%. But, I respect that he gave those people opportunities to make money they never would've seen, otherwise.
The soundtrack is immaculate
Years later circuses instead of being freak shows became Talent Shows. The most beautiful change from over the years.
This soundtrack did not have to go so hard tbh.
Editing to say that first shot between Zac and Queen Z at the end of Other Side is a cinematic masterpiece, and the spin in Rewrite the Stars makes me cry. Top tier song, coregraphy, chemistry. Living for it.
I honestly wish I would have met my Soul Mate as a child, but I didn't. And I didn't meet her in highschool or as and adult either.
hairspray better be next queen 👆
Shall we just go all out and call it a Zac Efron musical marathon 😂
The wounded cat, lmao im dead 😭
I absolutely love This Is Me and From Now On! I really wish that in the soundtrack, they had kept the "boom" sound when everyone lands all at once before the music kicks back in at the end of This Is Me.
''i dont know why im clearing my throat, i still sound like a wounded cat'' GIRL STAP XD
Yes I love Lakia videos!! Also Lakia is so pretty I just needed to say that. This is a movie I love rewatching and singing along to the music because it's amazing!!
Thank you ❤️ and same
Hugh Jackman been singing on stage years before he was Wolverine, his first Musical role was Gaston in the Australian version of the beauty and the beast in 1995 (5 years before the first X-Men) and he was in a lot of other plays/musicals as well, even won the Tony Award in 2004 for his role in The Boy From Oz where he played Peter Allen
💀love the shade at p.t. barnum
“Oh? Aladdin” made me choke on my juice I love you!
Tightrope is one of my favorite songs from this whole movie. The sadness that Charity feels sounds so real in that seen, and I feel for her🤌🏻
I'm depressed AF at 9:00pm on a Friday. I've had two beers and your channel has brought me out of my slump. The clouds that are over the moon have cleared, my skin is fresh, my life is better. Thank you for all your videos and work! They really do help. :)
Yo this is one of my fav musicals. The soundtrack is immaculate👍🏽👍🏽
I love musicals! I'd recommend Moulin Rouge for this series. It's free on CZcams right now and it's incredible. 😍
Zac didn't sing at the first HSM cuz his voice is changing at that time :)
Some musicals I'd love to see:
The Sound of Music
Singin' in the Rain
Cinderella (with Brandy)
Moulin Rouge
Seven Brides for Seven Brothers
Hamilton
Chicago
The Music Man
The Court Jester
:-)
Thanks for this reaction ❤, I love this movie.
Nobody reacts yet to greats movies like:
"Shakespeare in Live"
"A Beautiful Mind"
"Money Ball"
"The Man from Earth"
The lady with the apple is basically what you said, to make him realize that kindness can come from anyone, good people aren't just people who look good physically.
Omgg yess !
Yasss I was deadass singing my heart out to the soundtrack just yesterday for the first time in forever then you drop this? 👀🥲👏🏾 You know what the people want!
I can never not cry when listening to this is me 😭😌
Yes, exactly! Joining the choir that proclaims it shoulda been titled "The Greatest Show" and focused on the cast.
Like this woulda definitely helped not glorifying Barnum, but also, highlighted the amazingly cast actors in their roles.
"From Now On" is my favorite song in the whole movie as well ^_^ also, this is a musical and I don't believe it's "glorifying" P.T. Barnum. It's not meant to be accurate. Just thought I'd put that there since people who clearly don't understand musicals complain about it.
Though I agree that it’s not glorified, I think it was still an opportunity for them to show the issue of how toxic the man and circus really was.
I lost my Mamaw right before seeing this and now I associate her with Never Enough. Literal tears every time. I love the imagery and message of how no material things will ever replace the person.
You have to see Hamilton
@9:25 “He should be one of the freaks, look at your teeth” BRUH YOU HAD ME ROLLING
When Zendaya says 'Everyone has an act'. I felt like she was channeling Katherine Pierce.
Yeaaaa, this is why the greatest showman is my fav movie.
One of my favorite musicals is Hairspray the 2007 one it’s just yes yes yes yes yes and Zac Efron is also in that one too😉
"I'm not one for musicals."
🗣️:what about the greatest sho-
"YES ABSOLUTELY 101 PERCENT"
You should react to Chicago. It's an amazing musical.
CHICAGOOOOOO
I met my husband when we were 7 years old. When I was 10, my parents divorced and we moved so I didn't see him again for 28 years! We got married in between our April birthdays in 2005, he passed away in February 2018. I was married and had three children, divorced, before I found him again. I miss him very much. I loved this movie it reminded me of us when we were kids. He wasn't feeling very well so I saw this without him and he died a few months later unexpectedly! My father passed away 6 months before my husband did. I have an older sister so the little girls remind me of us as kids! Love your reactions just found you today.
Lakia...I’m CTFU! 😭😭😭😭😭 At 13:40 what WAS the bartender doing?!?! And “Never Enough”...16:39...sis, where’s YOUR Grammy?
the bartender actually choreographed the song
Movie musical Monday? Yes, please!
are you going to limit it to live action movies or including cartoons?
Top 3 favorite songs from this:
1. Rewrite the stars
2. This is me
3. From now on
ps. your editing skills ✨
I literally sang a million dreams at a concert
Yessssssss you share my favorite song!! That song is such a hype song haha it always make me dance 🙃

Imagine if he didn't catch her in time
Or worse his hand slipped
That would be an oopsie!
tightrope will always be my number one favorite song from this movie
If were talking about musicals...I think Teen Beach Movie should be a part of the conversation
The bearded lady and her war cry is what sold me on this song
Your passion for the soundtrack is infectious
YESS! This is one of my favorite movies and I’m so glad you watched it! I also sang a million dreams in one of my schools talent shows lol
You are officially my favorite CZcamsr!!!! I love your genuine personality and humor!!! Can’t wait to keep watching videos! ❤️
Thank you 😊
Cracking up when she said miss long legs 🤣😂
OMG when u showed the cat pic during "Never Enough" I literally choked on my drink from laughing so hard 🤣
This is the second best Hugh Jackman musical I’ve seen. The first one was Les Miserables
SIS SAME! Our song orders are exactly the same! From now on is everything 😭✨
Omgggg I gasped when you 1) show articles about the real story (have NO idea, never searched for it, my bad) 2) showed peaces of... Idk if it called a certain name, rehearsals? behind the scenes? where the cast is singing the songs, I cried when I first saw both From now on and This is me and to see it acknowledged in a movie watch is amazing!! So thanks you!! I really love this movie soundtrack, I agree that parts of the story were like mmmm but the music man, the music. Amazing.
My fave song is From Now On too! It makes me cry so much in the times when I have so many problems and I forgot that my family is always there for me.
Wolverine (Jackman) also did a voice in Happy Feet. He was Mumbles papa.
Hamilton NEEDS to be next
The cinematography in this movie is AMAZING
I had to stop and watch the movie. You were giving so many delightful snippets, I realized I needed to see the movie first and then come back to your video to fully appreciate what you were talking about. 😊 I don't know what took me so long to see this movie!
I dun really enjoy watching musical movie but this movie . This movie . Exceptional
I subscribed cause atp I’ve been watching your channel for like a couple hours now lol your very entertaining
I have ridden an elephant when I was about 7, I liked the butterflies in the background.
I love the greatest showman❤ and love your content Lakia❤
Thank you ❤️
from now on is amazing and this is my comfort movie just for the songs and scenes
I watch it 4 years after it was released and fell in love 😍
I have the sound track in my car! I love it and listen to it all the time! And the DVD, but I enjoy watching others reactions to it and other shows!
can you react to dreamgirls? i love that musical🤩
This isn’t a movie it’s a musical masterpiece that is criminally underrated
Ev time I watch this movie I get delusional thinking I could learn all these choreos😭
you NEED to watch Dream Girls!!!
a musical with BEYONCÉ, Jennifer Hudson, Ede Murphy, Jamie Fox… what more could you and for?
“I be to climb to get to the cabinets” me being 4,6 : SAME😟 WHY ARE CABINETS SO HIGH UP-
Another musical Hugh Jackman was in is called Les Miserables it’s my favorite musical but it does get dark like quick so yeah but it’s good the music is amazing
It was soooo fun watching this movie with you! The movie was awesome and your enthusiasm adds a whole other level of enjoyment for me❣ 😁😁😁 Subscribed!
This movie is a masterpiece one of my favorite musicals
It’s okay girl! I was singing along with you as I watched this 😎👍🏽
my older sister met Zendaya while she was doing shake it up she met her in the mall 8 years ago :)
24:29This man said there's no money sir you're in a freaking liquor store you're drinking our money what do you mean there's no money how did you get this liquor how are you in here if you've got no money 🤣🤣🤣
I love this movie man, This is my Second Favorite Movie that Hugh Jackman is in the Other is Rise of the Guardians, all the songs are amazing. My mom went To a circus where PT Barnum Hosted, and Me and my family Went There when I was younger, Barnum and Bailey I think? 4:53 The real Charity and PT had 4 kids.
Love this vid. The editing and you're too funny!
I will say, I have a very selective taste in musicals, but this is one where I like ALL the songs. While its not my absolute favorite musical, its easily in the top 10. Especially the song Jackman and Zac Efron do in the bar.
Not me singing backup while she sings the main part
I don't know if you will ever see this comment but you should react to hamilton I really want to see your opinion about it
like if you agree.
They need to stop playing and get u to *atleast* 100k 🥺❤
Lol thank you 🥺
Me at 3am singing this is me
I thought the lady in the front was mostly showing the only people who were really kind to him, a poor slum boy, were people who were “society’s rejects.” That the people who were ‘different’ were often kinder and more accepting of others which while not great leads into the reason why he wants to help them care for them in the future (similar to the same way the lady at the start did). Again it’s not the best look but does as some character arc to make him look nicer for wanting to help and be accepting of “freaks”
Those 'Zebras' Yes, they are painted Horses... I had the same reaction, the tail gives it away in one of the shots.
Hairspray and mama Mia is it for me.
My favorite song from The greatest showman is the other side because the beat of the music is beautiful is like two brothers trying to make his brother be in his show. (Am I weird)
I started along with you at the “ other side “ song lol
Zac can sing it’s just that his voice wasn’t too great during hsm1 but his voice got deeper and better before hsm2 and he even did Hairspray
Jeremy Jordan still would have done a better job as Philip, I'm still so devastated that they replaced him with Zac
@@saram.knight9930 nah.
@@S0LAVELLANHELL Do you know who Jeremy Jordan is?
I love this movie/musical! Also, you're very entertaining to watch u got urself a new soobscriber!
