This show did such a good job at showing the sibling “roles” like Jeremiah and Conrad were such perfect examples of the stereotypical oldest and youngest. I’m the oldest and I saw so much of myself in Conrad. I always felt like I had to be the strong one and hold everything together and hold everything in when my family was going through hard times. Especially with my dad being absent.

When some are against Jeremiah, they talk about his 2 infractions, which I am not justifying, but compared to Conrad’s 10, they are not a big deal. At least, Jeremiah is honest with about how he feels and is respectful of her. Belly is toxic too, but at least she was honest with Cam about why she broke up with him and she did the right thing instead of cheat, and she tells Taylor the truth about her situation. Did I like what she did when she was drunk? No, but did it make sense because she was drunk? Yes. She is not a bad person. I am not saying Conrad is a bad person either, but he is a bad romantic partner, at least for the time being.

A 17 year old/18 year old is going through a different part of their adolescence that personally made the relationship I was in (when I was Belly’s age) feel more off when I look back.
