    Hi, I am watching your videos. They are very useful. I have one question here. How do we set the target value for the staircase? the green square did not come through uniformity between 0.8 and 900 lux. Target values are not set for this staircase area could you please help in this regard?

    Hi Nelca! I have a question.... In the video the stairs start in the first floor from the left and end in the second floor in the right. How can I invert that? I mean I want to start in the first floor in the right and end in the left. How can I do that ??

    • @NelcaRoco
      @NelcaRoco  Před 5 lety +1

      I would like to suggest to do the other stairs manually because you cannot mirror or edit the stairs object from dialux.

    I can see that the height of stairs you used is standard (3m), and I did the same at the beginning and I got a 102 average lux. However, I found out that the project consultant am working with that he wants the distance between the surface of light fitting and the surface below it to be 2.64. So I pressed on the stair and changed the third blank from 3 to 2.64. I saw that the stairs shrinked ( which means the distance between light and ground below it is lower) ;however, the result I got after that for average lux is 62 which is lower. So did I do something wrong because lux should increase ?
    Thanks for the advice.

      yes, the lux value should increase. check the location of ur luminaire in elevation view. It might not mounted properly.

    Hi Nelca, usually i draw floor by floor and room by room for each floor .. and i draw the room of staircase in everyfloor.. in this way then i can't create a unique room but separated rooms.. So do you suggest always to create a stand alone building with 1 higher floor for the staircase even it is inside another building ? thank you

    Sorry Mrs. Roco,
    but I think you chose the false calculation mode for the stairs.
    The right one is the first one. The term "perpendicular" corresponds not with the original calculation parameter which is defined in german. It´s not correct translated from german in english.
    The right calculation mode which is defined in the international norm 12464 defines the vertical direction to the measurement layer. When the layer is turned it has to be the first calculation parameter.
    But nevertheless thank you for this video
    with best wishes

    Hello!
    It's possible to change the results on the platform, from perpendicular illuminance (adaptative) to horizontal illuminance?
    It's also possible to remove luminance of the report?
    Thank you!

    • @NelcaRoco

    Hi, I am attempting to model a stairwell where the footprint of the room, which spans 3 storeys, (and therefore rise and runs of staircases vary) is not the same on each floor of the building. Could you possibly elaborate on how to model this type of stairwell? I would have no problem sharing floor plans with dimensions with you.

    • @NelcaRoco
      @NelcaRoco  Před 5 lety +1

      Hi Jo, if the stairs are not typical, try modelling it manually. create your own stairs by using extrusion volume or cube.
