    the light does not automatically goes to DIALux after you download it, you have to import it into DIALux. There's so many cuts in your video, trimming also the necessary information confusing the new users of this softwafe.

    Great videos. You helped me a lot with my final project. One question Nelca. What am I supposed to do in case of a street light system with a power regulation program? For instance, 2 hours with a 100%, 1 hour 70%, 4 hours at 50%, 1 hour 70% and the last hour with 100%. Am I supposed to meet the minimum illuminations values also during the period with the 50% power? By the way, cool Italian accent. I'm from Spain. Thanks

    Hi Nelca! Thank you always for your amazing videos. I had a question about pole lighting.
    Is there anyway to use pole or mast lighting in the Building and Outdoor planning mode? Every time I try to insert a pole light, the bulb itself will be suspended in the air but it's not attached to a pole. When I insert the light in the Street Planning view, the pole will show up then.
    Am I doing something wrong?

    How can you add a 3Ds file to street lighting?

    • @NelcaRoco
      @NelcaRoco  Před 10 měsíci

      you will not add it to the street calculation. first, run the street calc, one its done and you get the right results, then apply the spacing and tilting angle on the outdoor lighting. in the outdoor lighting you can add the objects you want like trees, decorative poles, and other things.

  • @melmarpascua835
    @melmarpascua835 Před 8 lety

    how to make a street lighting design with curve roadways?

    • @NelcaRoco
      @NelcaRoco  Před 8 lety

      We usually run it in straight line first to check the distance, wattage, height or pole, bracket, etc. and if the lighting standards requirements have been achieved, then we will layout it in the curve road using the parameters taken from the straight line. It will then light like area lighting. Then if there are areas that are dark due to curve road, then we will adjust the pole spacing from that area.
      In short, just calculate it in straight, then layout in CAD, then run another calculation.
      There is no calculation for curve road, unless other software has this option. Probably like AGI32.
      I hope it helps!
