    Great instructional video! But how would you make an opening that crosses two of the "floors" created which make up the big space. Meaning, if you have a big window that starts in a floor but continues on the other on top of the first one?

    Hallo, I tried to cut the bottom between the ground- and the first floor of a two floor plant building. There is no problem to cut a wall or the roof, but to cut the bottom of the first flour to make the room in the ground floor higher, will not work. What could be the reason and the solution for this problem?

    Hello, Nelca Roco
    I accompany your videos of lighting projects on youtube and I really enjoyed your tutorials.
    I'm
    having trouble designing a building that has environments below ground
    level. Do you have any video that talks about how to make this drawing?
    Another question is: How do I draw terrain with reliefs, areas like gardens and squares?
    Attached is the photo of the place.

    is not accurate.. which is the width of the walls?? you draw clicking in any part of the building. Dialux is innacurate and slow for construct elements. People that use dialux comes from sketch up, revit or 3dsmax. Need more and effective tools to construct in dialux. But this is only a lighting calculating software, not for modeling.

    • @NelcaRoco
      @NelcaRoco  Před 5 lety

      you are right Richard. Dialux is for lighting design design not for modeling.

    • @JavierGomez-xy9wy
      @JavierGomez-xy9wy Před 5 lety +1

      The point of the video is to show you how to set up the model for the photometric calculations. You'd adapt what this is showing you to the plans that the architect provides. I've used Visual and AGI32 and I have to admit (based on the tutorials I've seen) that Dialux allows you to create a more detailed model with much more ease than the other two software.
      Also, Thank you Nelca for this tutorial. It was very enlightening.
